Based on last year’s data, the Classic Holiday Campaign has been split into two separate Apps this year:

This allows you to engage clients earlier in the season and maximize your holiday sales.

Below are some common questions and answers about the Apps.


Why should I use the Early Gift Sale App and Black Friday Sale App?

These Apps are pre-designed and include pre-written emails, translated into 11 languages, making it easy to launch a campaign and boost holiday sales with no extra work. Our numbers show that nearly 40% of annual sales occur between October and December, and photographers using Holiday Campaigns consistently see increased sales. (Learn more).

If I assign the App to several galleries for the same client, will they get campaign emails for each gallery?

No, your client will only receive one set of campaign emails. The discount, however, will apply to all galleries you’ve assigned the promotion to. (Learn more).

What happens if I add the sale to a gallery that already has a sale running?

Clients will see both sales in their gallery and receive emails from each campaign; however will only be able to stack the sales if it is allowed in your settings.

To let clients use both discounts together, you can enable discount stacking (allowing a bigger discount on the same order).

The Rolling Publish App discount is always stackable, so we suggest offering a smaller Black Friday discount in that instance instead.

If stacking is not enabled in either campaign, and both campaigns use % OFF discounts, the client will automatically receive the higher discount per order.

Do I have to re-publish any expired/offline galleries?

No, when you assign the sales Apps to an offline gallery, it will automatically bring it back online for the duration of the sale. (Learn more).

How do I select specific products to include in the sale?

By default, Custom Products, Product Packages, digital products, and products from other sales Apps are not included in the discount.

To offer them at the discounted rate, you can enable them by editing the Discount settings in the App. (Learn more).

If I change the Language, is there anything else I should do?

Yes, you should also update the Discount description to match the new language.

If I need to make changes to a Campaign that was already assigned to my galleries, how can I edit it?

When updating an App that’s already assigned to a gallery, first unassign the old version. Then duplicate the App, delete any emails that have already been sent, and assign the new version to the galleries to apply your changes. (Learn more).

If a client purchases something from the sale, will they still receive emails?

Yes. Clients will continue to receive emails to encourage them to make the most of the discount and place additional orders.

When does the Black Friday sale end?

It will end at 11:59 pm in your timezone.

Please Note: The Early Gift Sale App end date depends on your App settings.

This is why it is essential to ensure that you have set up the correct time zone in your account before installing any Apps.

Where are the Pre-Holiday and Album Apps?

In past years, we had other Apps available to highlight particular products. These Apps are no longer available this year. We recommend using the Easy Gift Sale and Black Friday Sale Apps instead.

If you were using the other Apps, they will continue to work and can still be edited and duplicated.

To create a new sale focused on specific products, you can customize the Early Gift Sale and Black Friday Sale Apps or create a General Coupon App.
