Pic-Time has a mobile app that empowers photographers with enhanced customer service tools and streamlined sharing capabilities. This application is an incredible tool for photographers, offering on-the-go gallery navigation and sharing tools.

Clients can also download and use the Pic-Time App to view their galleries.

This article will help you navigate through Pic-Time’s mobile app.

Download the App

Easily begin by searching for the Pic-Time app in your Android or Apple app store and download it on your mobile device.

Getting Started

Once you have downloaded the mobile application, you are now ready to dive into our application and its features.

Main Menu

After you’ve logged in to your Pic-Time account, you’ll be able to view your client galleries from your home screen. If you wish to view other options, select the Main Menu icon, represented by three vertical lines.

From the Main Menu, you can select to view Client Galleries (Galleries you have created for your clients), Galleries I Was Invited to (Galleries that other photographers have invited you to), and Full Photographer Interface (The photographer’s Main Dashboard).

Search and Filter Galleries

Use the search bar, or filter with specific parameters. You can also choose multiple filters at once. The gallery search can be filtered by Date, Occasion, Price list, Brand, and Gallery State. Once you’ve added your filters, select Apply.

Gallery Navigation

Once you’ve selected a gallery you wish to view, you can Select any images in the gallery, go back to the Menu, and use the different search and sharing options. You can also view and update some gallery settings and preview your gallery.

Share

If you wish to share the full gallery, select the Share icon. This is a great on-the-go method of sharing galleries with your clients. You can invite anyone as Main Clients, Photographer Invited, Vendors, or Guests. Learn more about different user types here. You can also share via QR Code!

AI Search

Click the AI Search icon and enter a keyword you wish the AI to search through your images for. Whether it’s finding photos of grandparents, group photos, or embraces, the AI search can filter these images out to help you select and share them with clients and vendors.

After selecting the filtered images, follow the steps here to share them with anyone you like.

Filter

Similar to AI Search, the filter option allows you to filter your gallery images based on multiple criteria. These filters could include vendors, scenes, Lightroom ratings, etc. Multiple filters can be applied to help ease the location of any images you’re seeking out.

After selecting the filtered images, follow the steps here to share them with anyone you like.

Settings

If you’re on the go and need to update some settings quickly, click on the Settings icon to update the gallery’s online/offline status, its privacy, and the gallery expiration. If you need to update more settings, you can click on the Menu icon to view the full photographer interface.

Preview

Clicking the Preview icon will allow you to see how the gallery will look in general for your clients.

Selecting, Sharing, and Downloading

After you select images, you can quickly download and share them directly to any social media or messaging app. In this next section we’ll go over how to share individual photos, a group of selected photos, and Slideshows.

Individual Photos

When clicking on a single photo from the gallery, you can share the image to any app, download it to your phone, and favorite it.

Selected Photos

When you search or filter for a certain group of photos or have selected multiple images, you can click on an individual photo to Share it, share the image as its own gallery, download the image, or favorite it for future use. After clicking Select all or choosing specific photos, you can share or download the entire selection.

Slideshows and Blogs

When clicking on a Blog or Slideshow, you’ll have the option to preview and share it on any social media.

Sharing on Social Media

You can share directly to any social media or messaging app. For example, when selecting Instagram you can choose to share the Slideshow or images as a Reel, Post, Story, or in a Message.

Share As Gallery

When clicking Share as gallery, you can copy the direct link and share via email.

After clicking the E-mail option, you can add your recipient, message, and preview the email before sending it.

QR Code / Share Via Mobile

A QR code, short for Quick Response code, is an easy-to-scan barcode that can be used to share information.

Sharing via the Mobile App

If you're using the mobile app and would like to invite any Vendors or Guests to pre-register to the gallery, you can easily have them scan the QR code! Select the Share icon in the gallery, then select either the Guests Pre-Registration or Vendor Registration.

For Guests Pre-registration, click the Share link. Then, the QR code option will appear, and guests can scan to join the gallery. Learn more about Guests Pre-registration here!

If you're selecting the Vendor Registration option, the QR code option will appear, and Vendors can scan to join the gallery. Learn more about Vendor registration here!

Sharing to mobile from your computer

If you’re attempting to share selected photos from your computer to your mobile device, you can do so via our custom QR codes from your Main Dashboard.

Please Note: The QR Code itself is for photographer use only and will not work if you attempt to screenshot and share with clients.

To create a QR code to view your selection in the mobile app, select photos from your gallery’s Photos tab and click the Share photos drop-down menu.

Next, select Share via mobile. This will prompt a QR code to present itself on the screen which you can scan with your mobile device’s camera. This will automatically let you view your selection from Pic-Time’s mobile app.
