The Pic-Time Mobile App makes it easy for photographers to manage galleries, share images on the go, and enhance client service.
The app is available for you and your clients, through the App Store and Google Play.
Pic-Time Mobile App contains Pic-Time branding, so if you would prefer to keep your galleries white-labeled we recommend setting up a Web App of the gallery instead.
This article will walk you through using the Pic-Time mobile app as a photographer.
Download the App
Search for “Pic-Time” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and download it to your mobile device.
Getting Started
Once the app is installed, log in with your Pic-Time account to start exploring its features.
Main Menu
After logging in, you’ll see your client galleries on the home screen.
To access more options, tap the menu icon. From here, you can:
View Client Galleries you’ve created for your clients
See galleries you were invited to by other photographers
Access the Full Photographer Interface (Your Main Dashboard)
Adjust App Settings or Logout
Search and Filter Galleries
You can use the search bar or filters to find galleries quickly.
Filters include: Date, Occasion, Price List, Brand, and Gallery State. After setting your filters, tap Apply.
Create a New Gallery
To create a new gallery:
1. Tap on + New Client Gallery.
2. Name your gallery, and choose a Date, Template, and Brand. Click Create Gallery.
Uploading Media
Please Note: To ensure smooth uploads and the best quality, check out our full guidelines on file size limits and export settings here. This will help you prepare your files properly before uploading them to your galleries.
To upload photos and/or videos:
1. In the gallery editor, click the plus icon.
2. Choose to upload to a new or existing scene, then tap Continue.
3. Select whether you’re uploading Photos and Clips or Featured Videos. (Featured videos can only be added to new Scenes or existing Featured video scenes.)
Keep the app open while uploading to avoid interruptions. If you close the app, the upload will pause and then resume after you have reopened the app.
4. To rename a scene, tap the more options menu (three dots), select Rename, enter the name, and tap Apply.
Edit Cover
1. Exit the gallery by tapping the back arrow icon.
2. Tap the three dots icon on the gallery thumbnail and then Select Cover Photo.
3. Tap on the image of your choice and then Apply. You will see the new cover updated as the thumbnail of the gallery.

Inside a gallery, you can:
Select images for sharing/downloading
Access the Main Menu
Use search and filter tools
Update some gallery settings
Preview the gallery as clients see it
Share
If you wish to share the full gallery, select the share icon. This is a great on-the-go method of sharing galleries with your clients.
You can invite anyone as Main Clients, Photographer Invited, Vendors, or Guests. Learn more about different user types here.
You can also share the gallery for pre-registration via QR Code.
To invite your Main Clients to the gallery select + Add another client. Enter their Full name and Email address, then tap Save.
To invite your client to the gallery via Email, tap on their details, then Email. Select the Email package from the drop-down menu, type in the Message, Preview the email, and Send when you’re ready.
AI Search
The AI Photo Filter effortlessly helps you make selections of photos from your galleries. By using Pic-Time’s AI Photo Filter, Pic-Time will harness AI to automatically make a selection of photos relevant to your search, and send the selection to a client or Vendor - all in a few clicks!
Click the AI Search icon and enter a keyword you wish the AI to search through your images for. Whether it’s finding photos of grandparents, group photos, or embraces, the AI search can filter these images out to help you select and share them with clients and Vendors.
After selecting the filtered images, follow these steps to share them with anyone you like.
Filter
Similar to AI Search, the filter option allows you to filter your gallery images based on multiple criteria. These filters could include Vendors, Scenes, Lightroom ratings, etc. Learn more here!
Multiple filters can be applied to help ease the location of any images you’re seeking out.
After selecting the filtered images, follow these steps to share them with anyone you like.
Settings
Tap the Setup icon to quickly update gallery settings on the go:
1. Toggle the gallery online/offline status.
2. Edit the gallery’s Occasion.
3. Manage gallery Access and Permissions, and set the gallery expiration date.
4. Edit Photo Download Permissions.
5. Edit Featured Video Download Permissions.
6. Select if you wish to apply a Watermark to the gallery.
7. Enable or disable AI Search.
8. Edit Gallery Style preferences.
9. Select the Email Package to use for the gallery.
10. Turn on/off the gallery Store and select the price list for the gallery.
11. For full settings, tap the menu and choose Full Photographer Interface.
Preview
Tap the Preview icon to see how the gallery looks for clients.
Selecting, Sharing, and Downloading
When you select media items, you can share or download them directly to social media or messaging apps.
In this next section, we’ll go over how to share individual items, a group of selected items, and Slideshows.
Please Note: Downloads only progress while the app is active in the foreground. Even if the app is still running in the background, the download will pause, and will only resume when you actively return to the app.
Individual Media Item
Tap to view any individual media item. From here you can choose to:
Share it
Download it to your phone
Mark it as a favorite
Delete it
When browsing the gallery, after searching or filtering for a certain group of media items, you can click on Select and choose any individual item to:
Share the file
Share a gallery containing only the selected item
Download it to your phone
Delete it
Selected Photos
After selecting multiple items or clicking Select all, you can Share, Download, or Delete the entire selection.
Slideshows and Blogs
When clicking on a Blog or Slideshow, you’ll have the option to preview and share it on any social media.
Sharing on Social Media
You can share directly to any social media or messaging app. For example, when selecting Instagram you can choose to share the Slideshow or images as a Reel, Post, Story, or in a Message.
Share As Gallery
When you click Share as gallery, you can copy the direct link and share it via email.
After clicking the E-mail option, you can add your recipient, message, and preview the email before sending it.
QR Code / Share Via Mobile
A QR code (short for Quick Response code) is an easy-to-scan barcode that can be used to share information.
Sharing from the Mobile App
If you're using the mobile app and would like to invite any Vendors or Guests to pre-register to the gallery, you can easily have them scan the QR code!
To invite Guests:
Tap the Share icon in a gallery.
2. Choose Guests Pre-Registration.
3. Share the QR code they can scan to join the gallery. Or invite them to register via a link.
To invite Vendors:
1. Choose Vendor Registration.
2. Share the QR code they can scan to join the gallery. Or invite them to register via a link.
Sharing from Your Computer to Mobile
If you’re attempting to share selected photos from your computer to your mobile device, you can do so via our custom QR codes from your gallery dashboard.
Please Note: The QR Code itself is for photographer use only and will not work if you attempt to screenshot and share with clients.
1. In the gallery’s Photos & Media tab, select photos in your gallery. Click Share photos, then Share via mobile.
This will prompt a QR code to present itself on the screen which you can scan with your mobile device’s camera. This will automatically let you view your selection from Pic-Time’s mobile app.

From there, you're ready to share the selection!
