Pic-Time’s Photo Filters let you filter images based on different parameters. Tags from your images (added in Lightroom, or with any other software you’ve exported from) such as color labels, star ratings, and keywords, and selections made by visitors in the gallery and store such as visitors’ likes, client selections, ordered photos and hidden photos - can be filtered in various places on the site for quick organization and automated workflows.

This article will go through how to use the Photo Filters to organize and send images as well as create Slideshows and Blogs in their respective sections. You can also conveniently select images for any of these features directly through the Photos tab. Learn more here.

Please Note: You need to have the most updated version of the Pic-Time Uploader in order to use filters. Older galleries do not currently support tags and filters. Download the Pic-Time Uploader here.

How to import Tags and Filter data to your Pic-Time gallery

In Lightroom or other editing software, organize your photos based on rating, label, keywords, etc. The Tags data is imported when photos are being uploaded to Pic-Time, in one of the following ways:

Via using the uploader on the site. Tags are imported from your JPG files. Make sure your editing software export settings include the metadata. For Lightroom this is set in the export settings, when starting an export. Under the Metadata section you should set the include field to “All Metadata”, "All Except Camera & Camera Raw Info" or “All Except Camera Raw Info".

Or via our Lightroom Plugin.

Please Note: older galleries currently do not have full support for Tags filters.
