Pic-Time offers seasonal Marketing Automations for major holidays throughout the year. However, if you'd like to run your own holiday promotion for your Art Galleries, you can easily do so by customizing a General Coupon (Art) App with our pre-made holiday designs.
In this article, we’ll walk you through how to customize the General Coupon (Art) App for a Black Friday sale — but you can use the same steps for any holiday or special occasion!
Please Note: If you edit the App after assigning it to galleries, you must:
1. Unassign the old version from the gallery.
2. Follow the instructions here for a smooth campaign.
3. Reassign the updated version to apply the changes.
Before You Install the App
1. Make sure your timezone is correct in your profile so that emails and discounts go out at the right time.
2. Review your Shop pricing to confirm your prices will still be profitable once the discount is applied.

Campaign Duration
8. Click the pencil icon to edit the Campaign Duration. You will set the Campaign Start Date when assigning the App to your galleries. The campaign duration determines how long clients can use the coupon from that date.
9. Select the number of months and/or days you would like the campaign to run for. We recommend setting it to end at 11:59 PM.
The campaign will begin once it’s assigned to your galleries, so make sure the timeline aligns with your holiday period.
In this example, since Black Friday falls on November 21 this year, and we want the Campaign to run from November 20 to December 1, we will set the duration to 12 days.
Please Note: If you are setting up the App for Black Friday, Christmas, or New Year season, be sure to consider your lab’s holiday production and shipping deadlines when scheduling the campaign to ensure all orders can be fulfilled on time.

Art Gallery Banner
10. Next, modify your Art Gallery Banner by clicking on the pencil icon.
11. The text banner appears at the top of each Art Gallery and stays pinned while scrolling.
You can also opt to display it on your Art Gallery Main Page when assigning your galleries.
You can edit the Banner Title, Background color, and Text color to highlight your seasonal offer and make it stand out from other promotions.
Emails For Art Gallery Visitors
12. First, you can adjust when the Announcement and Reminder emails notifying visitors about your campaign are sent.
This will not affect the campaign start date — only when emails are delivered to your gallery visitors.
13. From the Send drop-down menu, choose when you wish the emails to send:
Earliest Possible: as soon as the campaign is assigned
Optimized Schedule: at the most optimal time
Check the box if you want to receive a copy of each batch of emails, then click Apply.
14. Click the pencil icon to edit the Announcement email. This email will be sent out at the start of the Campaign.
15. Select the preferred Design Layout from the drop-down menu.
16. To adjust the email banner image, click Change Image or hover over the image graphic and click on the pencil icon.
You can browse the menu on the left-hand side to view seasonal designs. Scroll to explore more options and click your preferred design to select it.
Alternatively, go to My Images and click + Upload Image to upload your own designs, or choose Use Cover Photo to automatically apply each gallery’s cover image to the campaign emails.
17. In the Content tab, adjust the subject line, message, and button text if desired.
Pro Tip: Make use of dynamic text tokens in your email template to automatically personalize content for each recipient or campaign.
18. Adjust colors and logos in the Style tab.
19. If you have selected 3 images in 2 columns layout, you can edit the images, copy, and button text.
20. Click Apply to save changes.
21. You can also add Reminder emails to nudge your gallery visitors to make the most of the offer before the campaign ends. Click on the + icon to add each Reminder email.
22. Then click on the pencil icon to customize each email.
To delete any emails you don’t want to send, simply click on the trashcan icon.
Invite Client Galleries Visitors
23. You can also opt to notify visitors from your Client Galleries about the Art Galleries’ discount.
Toggle on/off based on your preference.
24. If you choose to invite Client Gallery visitors to this campaign, you can then add and customize additional emails to send to your Client Galleries.
