How do I make changes to an assigned App?

When you make changes to an App that is already assigned to a gallery, you must first unassign the old version of the App from the gallery, then reassign the updated version for the changes to take effect.

Updating an Assigned App

1. From your Main Dashboard, go to Sales & Automation.

2. Select the App you want to edit. In this example, we are selecting the Abandoned Cart App.

3. If you’ve already sent emails (e.g., the Announcement email) or want to preserve the original version, click the three dots on the App and select Duplicate.

You can then edit and assign the duplicate instead. This allows you to remove any previously sent emails, preventing them from being sent again when you reassign the App to your gallery.

Please Note: For Apps with a pre-set email schedule, any emails with past dates are automatically removed and will not be sent.

The Announcement email, however, will still go out when the App is assigned.

4. Click Edit App and update the settings as needed.

5. Click Done Editing to save your modifications.

6. Go to the specific gallery, open the Automations & Discounts tab, and toggle off the old version of the App to unassign it.

7. Then click + More Automations and select your edited App to assign it to the gallery.

Once the App is reassigned to the gallery, your new settings will be reflected!
