The dynamic text feature automatically inserts saved information from your or your client’s account. For example, {galleryname} will be replaced with the specific gallery name. This helps personalize Email Templates by filling in client-specific details when the email is sent. You can use dynamic text in the message body, footer, or title.
Adding Dynamic Text for Email Packages
1. From your Main Dashboard, go to Settings.
2. In the Email Packages tab, select the Email Package you would like to access.
Please Note: The Default Email Package cannot be edited. If you haven’t created a new Email Package, you will need to do so before you can edit the templates.
3. To edit a specific template, click on the pencil icon next to it.
4. Click Edit to begin editing the message.
5. Select Dynamic Text to access the list of dynamic text offered for that specific message type.
6. Choose the dynamic text token you would like to add to the message and copy the text from the column on the right (Command + C or Ctrl + C).
You can find a list of what each dynamic text token represents further down in this article.
7. Paste the text into the message (Command + V or Ctrl + V). Finish drafting your message and click Apply.
8. To save the changes to your template, select Apply.
Available Dynamic Text Tokens
Dynamic text tokens automatically insert specific details into your messages. View a full list of available tokens here.
Here are some examples of how email tokens work in practice:
{username} token: Inserts the client’s name (Gallery’s Share tab → Main Clients → Client’s Name).
{galleryname} token: Inserts the gallery name (Name & Cover tab → Gallery Name)
{invitefriendslink} token: Inserts the guest link for the gallery (Share tab → Guest Link → Get Secure Link)
{brandname} token: Inserts your business name (Settings → Profile → Account → Business Name).
If there are multiple brands on the account (Settings → Brand & Style), the brand name assigned to the gallery will be used (Gallery’s Name & Cover tab → Brand).
