Add Slideshow and Images
1. To begin, select the Photos tab in your specific gallery, and click + Add Scene. Name your scene. Then select + Create Slideshow.
Name Slideshow
2. Name your Slideshow and select the quality. Full HD will create the Slideshow in 1920x1080px, and 4K will create the Slideshow in 3840px on the long edge. Please note: to use 4K quality, you need to purchase the 4K Slideshow Add-On. Learn more here.
3. Choose the display format. Select 3:2 format to fit standard images, select 16:9 format to fit standard youtube/video/tv display, select 4:3 format for a film photography look, or select 9:16 format to fit vertical social media displays (i.e. Instagram stories). Learn more about format options here.
4. Then select your Layout Style. There are four options to choose from: Single, Editorial, Full, and Organized. You can also change the style later on. Click Continue.
5. Then select your images from the gallery to display in the Slideshow. Photos can be selected directly from the gallery, and you can upload additional images and graphics if required by clicking on the + plus icon. You will also be able to select and upload additional photos later on. GIFs, Video Clips, and Featured Videos cannot be added to Slideshows.
6. Click the box icon at the top right corner for a larger view, or click the enlarge icon on each photo to view it in full screen. When you are done selecting images, click Add Photos.
Please Note: If you update the photos within the Photos tab itself (e.g., upload a new version of the image with the same file name) it will automatically update in the Slideshow as well.
Music Library
7. From the Slideshow Editor, click + Add Music to browse through Pic-Time’s music library.
In the music library, you can upload your own music (.mp3 files only), sort through your favorited tracks, filter tracks by Characteristic, Genre, Instrument, Mood, and Energy, or browse through different categories.
Please Note: do not manually change the music extension from .m4a to .mp3. The system doesn't support this and the download won't work.
In the favorites category, you can see other photographers' favorites and also can choose to share your own favorites with the community. Learn more here.
Click on the track thumbnail to begin playing. You can see the duration and mood of the track, and how many photos you need to add or remove to match the beat and length of the track at whatever duration speed you set for the slides (see below for more details).
You can also click on the heart icon to add the track to your favorites list, or click Add Custom Beat Match to edit the beat matching in the song. Learn more about Custom Beat Matching here.
8. To add the track to your Slideshow, click on the track to select it, and press Continue.
Track Speed and Beat Matching
9. You can Fit all photos into the song, or match the image transition to the beat of the track with Fast Beat Match, Normal Beat Match, or Slow Beat Match. Slow speed is 4 seconds per each slide, Normal speed is 2 seconds per each slide, Fast speed is 1 second per each slide, and Very Fast speed is 0.5 seconds per slide.
You can also create your own custom beat match for a track and trim the beginning and ending of each track. If you have more than one track in a single Slideshow, you can select the track speed for each particular track. Learn more here.
If you need to remove a track, click on the ‘x’ icon to the left of the track name.
Transitions, Watermarks, and Slide Duration
10. Now select the transition between slides. You can choose to fast or slow crossfade each slide into the next one immediately, have each slide fade to background color before moving onto the next slide, or select a hard cut between each slide. If you have multiple tracks in a single Slideshow, you can edit the slide transition for each particular track. Learn more here.
11. Next, choose to display your watermark on the images in the Slideshow. Checkmark whether you want your watermark to act as branding and display only one watermark per slide, or act as photo-protection and display across each image.
You can adjust to display one of the 2 optional watermark setups as per your preferences under Settings > Brand and Style. You can also adjust the watermark for the downloaded version of the Slideshow under the Slideshow Download Settings window.
12. Then select which speed you’d like for your Slideshow.
Slow speed is 4 seconds per each slide
Normal speed is 2 seconds per each slide
Fast speed is 1 second per each slide
Very Fast speed is 0.5 seconds per slide
You can also choose to Fit all photos into the track, or match the image transition to the beat of the track with Fast Beat Match, Normal Beat Match, or Slow Beat Match.
