Send one or more of your gallery guests a series of promotional offers using the Rolling General Coupon app! This very customizable app can be used for percentage off, free products, free shipping, set monetary amount (print credit), or product-at-cost-price coupons. After this app is assigned to a gallery you will be asked to select which clients you would like to send the promotion to and when you would like it to start! This article will guide you through customizing the app and assigning it to your gallery.

Please Note: Even after your client has used the discount for one campaign, they will still receive the discount and associated emails and banners for the other campaigns.

Add Rolling General Coupon App

1. To get started, click Sales & Automation from the Main Dashboard.

2. Under the Campaigns tab select to view More campaigns and choose the Rolling General Coupon.

3. Click to Install the app to your Marketing Dashboard.

4. Name your app and click Add Automation App.

Delay between promotions

5. Select the number of days between your campaigns. This will be the amount of days after one sale ends and before the next one begins, and will apply to every campaign that you enable in this app.

Choose the number of days or months between each campaign. Then click Apply.

Discount

6. Then adjust the discount for this campaign.

Here you can modify the discount, description, code, whether you want to apply free shipping, whether you want to have a minimum order amount for this coupon, if you want to allow discount stacking or if you want to limit the coupon to specific products. For more information on what discounts you can offer, click here. Click Apply when you are ready to save your changes.

Campaign Duration

7. Modify the duration of your coupon. This will be the time period during which the coupon can be used by your client, and will correspond with your reminder emails.

Select the number of months and/or days you would like to run the campaign for. You can adjust for the campaign to end at 11:59 pm. Click Apply when you are ready to save your changes.

Emails

8. You can send emails as part of your campaign. First adjust when emails are sent, if you would like to delay the announcement email and reminder emails. This will not delay the start of your campaign but only delay the email send time.

You can choose to delay at 8:00am following the app start, 2:00pm following the app start, 8:00pm following the app start, or immediately once the app starts. Emails are opened more often at a specific time of the day and Pic-Time offers those times.

9. Then click the pencil icon to customize and edit the emails. Your announcement email will go out at the start of the campaign. You can also add email reminders before the end of the campaign. Learn more about editing and customizing emails here!

Banners

10. We can now begin customizing your banners. Banners will display in the gallery and shop for any users who are eligible for the discount. For example, if you assign a discount to your Main Client, only they will be able to see the banners, receive the emails, and use the discount when they are logged into their account. There are 5 types of banners: Text Banner, Large Banner, Photo Banner, Product Row, and Store Rotator. Each banner has various editable parameters. Learn more about the banner options and customizations here!

Subsequent Campaigns

11. Edit the Discount, Campaign Duration, Emails, and Banners for Campaigns 2, 3, and 4, or click the toggle button to remove any additional campaigns.

12. After you have modified your app, you can leave an internal note to yourself and click Save to save the app.

Assigning the App to Galleries

13. After you have created your app, you can assign it to your galleries in order for your clients to receive the sale! Learn more about assigning apps to galleries here. In addition, you can assign the app to a specific person so that only they receive the discount.
