Send your clients and their friends and family a promotional discount once a year with the Anniversary Gift Automation. On a set date each year, users of the gallery will receive an email with a discount encouraging them to visit the gallery again and order a physical product from the event. They can also see the discount displayed in the gallery itself. This article will guide you through customizing the automation and assigning it to your gallery.

Add Anniversary Gift Automation
1. Click here to begin in the Automations tab in your Sales & Automation, and then click + More Automations.
2. Select the Anniversary Gift Automation from the list and click Set Up Automation.
3. Name your automation and click Add Automation.
Campaign Language
4. The Anniversary Gift Automation is available in 11 different languages! Including English, Deutsch, Dansk, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português, or Svenska.
Please Note: You will need to manually change the discount code and discount description in your preferred language.
Changing the language will update your emails and banners, so you'll want to do this step first.
Number of Years the Automation will Repeat
5. Then set the number of years the automation will repeat.
This is the length of time the automation will be active, and you can set it between 1-5 years. Click Apply when you are ready to save your changes.
Campaign Start Date
6. Next, modify the campaign start date.
This determines how many days before the anniversary (Gallery Date) the discount will be sent. The discount will then be delivered annually, based on the Gallery Date, for the full duration of the automation. We suggest considering product delivery times if you would like your clients to receive their products by the actual anniversary date. Click Apply when you are ready to save your changes.
Campaign Duration
7. Then you can set the campaign duration. This will be the time period during which the coupon can be used by your customers.
Select the number of months and/or days you would like to run the campaign for. You can also adjust for the campaign to end at 11:59 pm. Click Apply when you are ready to save your changes.
Discount
8. Then you can customize your coupon by adjusting the discount.
Here you can modify the discount type, description, and code, choose to apply free shipping, set a minimum order amount, allow discount stacking, and/or limit the coupon to specific products. For more information on what discounts you can offer, click here. Click Apply when you are ready to save your changes.
Please Note: Do NOT change the language of the dynamic text token. These must remain exactly as written so the system can automatically populate the correct information (such as coupon codes).
Banners
9. You can now begin customizing your banners. There are 5 types of banners: text banner, large banner, photo banner, product row, and store rotator. Each banner has various editable parameters. Click on the pencil icon to begin editing. Learn more about all the banner options here.
10. You can also remove a banner by clicking on the trash can icon.
Emails
11. With this automation you can edit your main client email and a separate email for other gallery users. First adjust the trigger for the main client email and decide if you would like to delay the announcement email and reminder emails. This will not delay the start of your campaign but only delay the email send time.
You can choose to delay the email to an optimized schedule or send it at the earliest possible time. Emails are opened more often at certain times of the day, and Pic-Time provides these optimal times through the “Optimized Schedule” option.
12. Your announcement email will go out at the start of the campaign. You can also add email reminders before the expiration of the campaign. To start editing the email, click on the pencil icon over the email graphic.
13. You can modify the email subject, message title, email message, button text, and images. Learn more about customizing emails here! Once you have reviewed your text, click Apply to save your changes.
14. If you don’t want to send out a certain email, you can click the trash can icon to delete it.
Send to Guests
15. If you’d like, you can include the campaign to also be sent to other users of the gallery. Click the toggle button to turn this on or off.
16. Then you can select the additional user types to receive this campaign.
17. Select your user types, and click Apply.
18. Next, you can add emails and any reminders that are sent to these users as well.
19. After you have modified your automation, you can leave an internal note to yourself and click Save to save all your changes.
Assign the Automation to Galleries
Now you’re ready to assign your automation to galleries! When you assign the automation to a gallery, then the campaign will begin. Learn more about assigning automations to galleries here.
