You can send a coupon to a specific person, for example sending a complimentary wedding album, offering free shipping to a deserving client, or sending a client a discount for leaving a testimonial.
First, set up the app.
If it’s a discount you’re likely to offer on repeat in the future to different users, such as a print credit or complimentary product, you can use a General Coupon App.
If it’s a one-off discount you can use the Single-Use Coupon App.
Next, assign the app to the gallery.
Go to the gallery, in the Sales & Automation tab, click + More Automations to assign the app to the gallery. For more information on how to assign an app to a gallery, visit this article.
Select the recipient of the coupon.
When assigning the app, click the pencil icon next to Recipients.
Choose Select Specific Users.
Click the user that you would like to receive the coupon. A checkmark will appear next to their email. The coupon will send to all users that are checkmarked. Then click Continue to continue assigning the app to the gallery.
If the user cannot be selected.
If the user cannot be selected it is because they have opted out of promotions. To select this user, you will need to ask the user to log into the gallery and opt into promotions in their profile settings.
If the user does not appear in your list of gallery guests.
User emails must be registered to the gallery to receive a specific coupon.
To add a Main Client to the gallery, exit the app assignment by clicking the X in the top right, and return to the Share tab of the gallery. Enter your client’s details in the Name & Email fields.
For other users, you can invite the user to the gallery through the Invite by Email button in the Photographer Invited section of the Share tab.
After the user email is added to the gallery, you can go back to the Sales & Automations tab and assign the app to that person.
