If you are a photographer who wants to be able to sell high-resolution downloads but wants to include a certain number of downloads for free, you can use one of two workflows:

First, you will want to set your high-resolution pricing point for your galleries and then create a coupon for a free product for your client(s). The coupon will be saved as a template and can be conveniently used for other future clients.

Setting up High-Resolution Downloads Pricing

1. Go to Settings from your Main Dashboard.

undefined

2. Access your store under the Store Pricing tab. Hover over Photo Downloads and click on Edit Price.

undefined

3. Set your price per image and click Apply. Learn more about selling custom resolution downloads here.

undefined

Any users who do not have access to free high-resolution downloads (as per your specific gallery’s download settings) will now be able to purchase.

Creating a Coupon

After you create Marketing Automation apps, the templates will be saved for future use. This allows you to conveniently resend coupons to any future clients. For example, if you offer 10 free downloads with all family sessions, you can send this same app to all your clients as you invite them to their galleries.

4. Begin by clicking on the Sales & Automation tab from the Main Dashboard.

undefined

5. In the Campaigns tab, click the + More Campaigns icon to install a new General Coupon app.

undefined

6. You can follow the General Coupon Sales Automation App tutorial we have, but for this article, we will show you how to set up the coupon portion to include free downloads.

In the Discount section, change the Discount Type to Free Product, enter your Description, and Coupon code.

undefined

7. Then click Select Products to make the code valid for only digital downloads.

undefined

8. Select the downloads you want to include (either under Photo Downloads, or your digital custom products) and indicate how many free digital downloads you would like to allow for your client. Click Apply.

undefined

9. Once you are back in the main Discount editor, review your information and select Apply to save the discount.

Send Discount to Client

10. After you finish editing the app and save it, you can easily assign it to any gallery, including sending it to a specific client.
