In this guide, we will go over how you can create a new Art Gallery and customize the products for your gallery in order to prepare it for your clients.
Art Galleries
1. To get started, select the Art Galleries tab from the Main Dashboard.
2. Click + New Gallery.
Creating an Art Gallery
3. In the Name & Cover tab, you can name your gallery, modify your gallery link, choose the gallery language, upload your cover photo and adjust the focal point for your cover photo if needed.
4. Your cover photo will be displayed as the cover on the Art Main Page only.
5. In the Photos tab, add your photos to the gallery.
6. If you have the Pic-Time Uploader App, you do not need to wait on the Photos tab until your photos are uploaded.
7. You can proceed to the Gallery Setup tab. In the Gallery Setup tab, you can add a watermark.
8. Then, add any SEO Descriptions for your gallery. The SEO tag will help optimize your gallery search potential on various search engines.
9.. Then choose the price list for your gallery. It is important that you review and choose a fulfillment lab for your price list before adding the products. When you add products, you will be able to modify the price but you cannot change the lab unless you modify it in your price list.
We recommend that you create a separate price list for your Art Galleries and choose your labs. For more information on how you can set up your fulfillment, click here.
10. Lastly, set the default email package for your emails.
Adding Products
1. In the Art Gallery tab, you can add products to your Art Gallery. These are the products that you choose to sell through your Art Gallery. Click on + Product and you will be redirected to your store where you can start designing your product.
Please Note: You can only create up to 500 product variants per gallery. However, we recommend creating a curated gallery of no more than 50 images with 2-4 variants each.
2. Choose a specific product from the store.
3. Design your product. You can choose different aspects of your product like size, covers, print sizes and photo. Each product will have different design options. For example, when designing a frame you can choose the size of the frame, size of the print, frame color and the photo in the frame. Then choose your art photo from the bottom carousel. This is the photo that will be sold in the product.
4. Once you are done designing your product, click Done Editing.
5. Now you can customize your product by adding the Art name, image, description and adding a recording.
6. The art name, description, image and recording is located in the gallery where the gallery visitor can view the Art.
You can mark the item as limited edition and let your client know that this is a limited edition item. This means that you can limit the number of purchases that can be made for this product.
Set your max amount available for purchase (number of items) and the number of items that have already been purchased (in case you are selling these items outside of Pic-Time). You can also explain your limited edition info.
The information for the limited-edition item is displayed at the top of the item description.
7. Now you can add the product specs, such as any additional sizes you would like to offer, specific display name for the variant items and an item description (type of paper, materials, production etc.). The item description is generated from the default description based on the lab you have selected, however, you can modify the description to make it your own. Click Apply when you are done.
8. You can modify the type of product image your clients see or select multiple product images. There is even an option to present the product in an interior space, so your client can visualize the scale of the item. To learn more about it, click here.
9. You can click to add multiple product images, as well as choose to display the item in multiple interiors.
10. Hover over the product image you added and click to preview, delete it or drag it to arrange the order in which the product images are displayed.
11. You can also modify the price of the item. For convenience, you can see the cost of the item and the lab. To change the lab, you will need to edit the price list that you are using for the Art Gallery.
The information for the product is located in the gallery under the Art name and description.
Main Page Style & Grid
1. In the Art Gallery tab, you can customize the style of your gallery, such as background color, font, font size etc. Click on Style to choose a style preset or a custom style.
2. You can also customize the grid layout of the galleries.
3. Edit the header or the footer area by hovering over and clicking on edit. You can change the title, text and a photo or a video for your Header.
4. You can also customize the style, grid, footer and header in your Art Main Page. The Art Main Page displays all of your Art Galleries and your personal bio. For a more detailed guide on various style and grid options, click here.
