With so many unique ways to market your Art Gallery products, we are excited that your products can now be integrated into your Instagram and Facebook shop with Meta Commerce! This will make the items clickable through your posts and stories, as well as show up in your dedicated IG Shop, so you can present your art products to your social media audience and they can shop for them right away.

Some of our photographers have already set up their Art Shops, so we are here to show them off. See how they uniquely structure their shop and explore their Instagram accounts for a closer look!

Before setting up your shop, you’ll want to make sure your Facebook account is connected to your Professional Instagram account. Learn more here.

After your accounts are connected, you’re ready to add your Art Gallery products!

Create a Catalog

Please Note: This is only available for USA and UK photographers due to Meta limitations.

1. First, open the Commerce Manager in your Meta Business Suite and click Get Started.

2. Click Create a catalog and select Get started.

3. Select the Ecommerce catalog type, and choose Online products, unless you are specifically selling physical products at a local location.

4. Choose Upload product info as your upload method, and type in a Catalog name. We suggest “Pic-Time Art Gallery” or “Pic-Time [name of your Art Gallery]”. Then click Create.

Pro Tip: You can add all of your Art Galleries, or specific galleries.

5. After creating your catalog, click to View catalog.

Copy url from Pic-Time

6. Next, copy the Data Feed url from Pic-Time. To copy the url, from your Main Dashboard, select the Art Galleries tab.

7. You can connect your Art Gallery Main Page or a specific Art Gallery. In the Galleries tab, to connect the Art Gallery Main Page, click the Share button. Otherwise, select your specific gallery.

8. If selecting a specific gallery, in the Art Gallery tab, click the Share button.

9. After opening the Share window for your Main Page or specific gallery, click Integrate to Meta Commerce.

10. Copy the url.

Add Art Gallery Data feed

11. In your catalog on the Meta Commerce Manager, select Data sources.

12. Choose Data feed as your preferred option, and click Next.

13. Paste the url that you copied from Pic-Time, and click Next.

14. Name the Data feed, set your currency if needed, and update the Frequency during which your Data feed will be updated with any new product information from Pic-Time. Then click Upload.

15. After the upload is complete, in the Items tab you will be able to see all the products and product variants.

Create Shop

16. Now, you’ll need to create a Shop to display the products on Instagram or Facebook. Select the Shops tab and click Go to Shops.

17. Click Next.

18. Make sure your Sales channels are connected to Instagram and/or Facebook, and you have your Pic-Time Art Gallery Catalog selected. Then click Next.

19. Then select a shipping option. Your Art Gallery Data feed will override any shipping prices set here, but you’ll need to enable one of the shipping options before continuing to the next window. Customers will be taken to your Pic-Time Art Gallery and will see the standard lab shipping costs, or whatever shipping prices you have set up in your Store Settings. After that, set the number of days the client has to return the item, as well as your Business email.

20. Next, add your Shop contact email, and checkmark if you agree to Meta’s Seller Agreement. Then click Finish setup.

21. After that, you can fill out the other information regarding your business, and click Finish setup.

Set Quantity

22. Then you will need to set the number of products you have to sell, including products that technically have an unlimited quantity. In the Catalog section, under Items, click the checkbox to select all your items, and then click Edit.

23. Under Quantity to sell, add the number of items you wish to sell. If it is an open edition (for example, lab fulfilled prints with no limited edition), you will still need to enter a Quantity. Then click Update products.

24. Next, refresh the page, then click on the Sets section and click Add set to shop.

25. Either click + Add collection to follow the steps to add a new collection, or choose an existing collection. Then click Publish updates.

26. Select Publish updates that comply with our policies and click Submit.

27. Then click Got It.

28. If you like, you can then click View live shop to see the updates.

Publish Updates to Shop

29. If you ever need to update your shop in the future, in the Meta Commerce Manager, select Shops and click Edit shop.

30. Review any changes, and click Publish updates.

Tag in Posts and Stories

Once you add your products to your Instagram shop, you can display them in your posts and stories, making it easily clickable for your audience. Just search for your Shop, and tag in your posts!
