Watermarks can help protect your work online. Before you can use them in galleries, you will first need to upload a watermark in your general watermark settings (Settings > Brand & Style tab).

Once uploaded, you can choose where and how the watermark appears, and then enable or disable it for each gallery.

Please note: When using Pic-Time’s watermark feature, it will only be applied to JPEG images in your gallery and Web-Size downloads.

It will not appear on GIFs, Video Clips, Featured Videos, Slideshows, High-Resolution downloads, or printed photos.

Please Note: By default, your uploaded watermark applies to all galleries. Contact our Support team if you’d like to remove watermarks in bulk.

Please Note: Watermarks cannot be applied to the gallery cover photo. To display a watermarked cover image, add the watermark outside of Pic-Time and then upload that version.

General Watermark Settings

1. From your Main Dashboard, go to Settings.

2. In the Brand & Style tab, choose whether to use a Flexible or Burned Watermark.

We recommend the Flexible Watermark in most cases. Learn about the differences here.

3. Pic-Time allows you to upload two different watermarks. Select whether you want to upload Watermark 1 or Watermark 2, and then click to Upload Watermark.

Upload a PNG file with a transparent background. Recommended size: 600x280 px.

4. Choose the size and position of how the watermark will show in your photos.

Fit size means the watermark fits the shortest side of the photo.

Fill size means the watermark fits the longest side of the photo.

5. Check the box to Use AI watermark protector (optional) if you want to add extra protection against bulk watermark removers.

6. Checkmark where you want your watermark to appear. You can display the watermark on:

  • Free web-sized downloads

  • Shared photos

  • Gallery

  • Store

7. Once saved, you can enable/disable the watermark for each gallery:

  • For Flexible Watermarks, do this in the Gallery Setup tab.

  • For Burned Watermarks, do this in the Name & Cover tab.

Gallery Setup with Flexible Watermark

1. In the Gallery Setup tab of any gallery, you can choose to apply Watermark 1, Watermark 2, or No watermark.

2. Choose whether the watermark appears for all or only specific user types.

3. Choose whether the watermark appears for all or only specific scenes.

Gallery Setup with Burned Watermark

1. In the Name & Cover tab of a new gallery, select the watermark.

Please Note: The watermark will be burned into images during upload and cannot be edited later.
