How do I include additional products in my holiday campaign?

By default, Pic-Time’s Early Gift Sale and Black Friday Sale (coming soon) Apps do not include:

  • Custom Products

  • Product Packages

  • Digital products

  • Products from other Apps (e.g., Digital Gift Card)

You can choose to include these additional products if you want. Since our holiday campaigns are designed to promote printed products, you may need to adjust their designs and copy to include the additional products. Follow the steps below to make these changes.


Installing the App

If you haven’t created the App yet, follow the setup instructions here:

If you’re editing an existing App, follow the steps below.


Editing the App

Please Note: If you edit the App after assigning it to galleries, you must first unassign the old version from the gallery.

2. Within the Campaigns tab, under Client Galleries, click on the App to open it.

In this example, we will edit the Early Gift Sale App.

3. Select to Edit App.

Edit Discount

4. Under the Discount section, click on the pencil icon.

There will be a discount in the Early Gift Sale and the Black Friday Sale Apps.

5. Edit the Description text to suit your campaign.

Select Products

6. By default, Custom Products, Product Packages, Digital Products, and products from other apps (e.g., Digital Gift Card) are not included in the promotion.

To include all products from the gallery’s Price List, simply uncheck the Limit to specific products option, then click Apply.

To include only specific products, click on Select products.

7. Here you can choose which print products to Include or Exclude from the sale. All Pic-Time’s printed products are included by default — uncheck any you don’t want to include, then continue to step 8.

Pro Tip: To exclude specific products, you can also simply remove them from your Price List for the duration of the sale by following these steps.

8. Click Apply to save your Discount settings.

Edit Emails

9. Click the pencil icon on each email template to customize it.

10. To replace the banner image, click Change Image or the banner image itself.

11. You can browse and select one of our pre-designed holiday banners. Click on the design to select it.

Alternatively, go to My Images and click + Upload Image to upload your own designs, or choose Use Cover Photo to automatically apply each gallery’s cover image to the campaign emails.

12. In the Content tab, you can edit the Email Subject and Title. To change the email body text, click Edit under Message.

13. Edit the email text and click Apply.

14. By default, emails do not display product images. To showcase the products included in your promotion, click the Design Layouts dropdown and select 3 Images in 2 Columns.

15. To replace the product images at the bottom of the email, click on Change Image or on the image itself to edit it.

16. You can browse and select one of our Product Promotion designs.

17. After updating the product in the image, you can edit the Box Title copy in the panel on the left-hand side.

18. Once you’re finished editing the email, click Apply to save your changes.

Edit Campaign Banners

19. Click the pencil icon on each banner to edit.

20. Review and customize the banner text, if needed. Click on Change Design to edit the banner design.

21. Browse our holiday-themed banner designs. Click on the design to select it.

22. Click Apply to save banner edits.

Save App Edits

23. Once you’re finished editing the App, click Save.

Assign or Reassign App to Galleries

24. After editing the App, assign the app to galleries, and recipients will be able to use the promotion on the products you have selected!

Please Note: When you make changes to an App that is already assigned to a gallery, you must first unassign the original app, then, after making your edits, reassign the updated App to the gallery for the changes to take effect.
