When creating a Slideshow in Pic-Time, you can quickly customize the style of the slideshow by editing the color palette, font collection, layout style, and border size.
Create Slideshow
1. To begin, go to the Client Gallery you would like to work with. In the Photos tab of the gallery, select + Create Slideshow or click the pencil icon on an existing slideshow to edit.
Name Slideshow
2. Name your Slideshow and select the quality. Full HD will create the Slideshow in 1920x1080px, and 4K will create the Slideshow in 3840px on the long edge. Please note: to use 4K quality, you need to purchase the 4K Slideshow Add-On. Learn more here.
3. Choose the display format. Select 3:2 format to fit standard images, select 16:9 format to fit standard youtube/video/tv display, select 4:3 format for a film photography look, or select 9:16 format to fit vertical social media displays (i.e. Instagram stories). 4. Then select your Layout Style. There are four options to choose from: Single, Editorial, Full, and Organized. You can also change the style later on. Click Continue.
5. To edit the style of the slideshow, click Design Slideshow.
6. Click Style.
Slideshow Layout Style
7. Change the layout of the entire slideshow by selecting one of the premade designs under Layout Style. This will apply the layouts to every slide in the gallery for a quick slideshow design.
8. Select between Single (default), Editorial, Full, or Organized styles.
Slideshow Color Palettes
9. To change or edit the slideshow color palette, select Color Palette from the style options.
10. Choose any of the pre-designed color palettes or select + Add Custom Palette to create your own.
11. Edit the Background, Accent 1, and Text colors for your custom color palette by clicking on each option and choosing your preferred colors. After you finish selecting the colors for your custom palette, click the arrow to view the main color palette selection. Your custom color palette will now be visible in the palette options.
12. You can edit or delete your custom color palettes by hovering over the custom palette. Select the pencil icon to edit the color palette or the trash can icon to delete the color palette.
13. After you select a color palette, the changes will be applied to your slideshow.
Slideshow Font Collection
14. To change the slideshow font collection, select Font Collection from the style options.
15. Select one of the font collection options to apply the font to the slideshow.
The font collection will now be applied to the slideshow.
Slideshow Border Size
16. To apply a border or edit the border sizes in your slideshow, select Border Size from the style options.
17. Click and drag the slider under Around slides to edit the border around the entire slide. Click Custom if you want to adjust the size for each side of the border individually.
18. Click and drag the slider under Between photos to edit the border size between photos on slides that have more than one image.
19. You can also edit the border for a specific slide in the main slideshow editor. Select a slide and then select the Edit Borders icon.
20. Drag the slider to adjust the borders, and click Custom to edit the top, bottom, right, and left portions of the slide’s border.
21. If you want to customize the font, colors, or borders for just certain slides, you can checkmark each slide to select it, and then click Style. Note that changing the Layout Style will update the entire slideshow regardless of if you’ve selected certain slides.
