Give your clients the option to pick up their order in person. You can enable this for each price list, as well as set custom pickup options for each gallery. Then easily mark when orders are ready for pickup.

Enable in the Price List

1. To begin, go to Settings from your Main Dashboard.

undefined

2. In the Store Pricing tab, select your desired Price List, click the Settings icon, and select the Pickup option.

undefined

3. In the Pickup settings window, choose from the dropdown whether you want your clients to have the pickup option available in their cart in addition to shipping to the client’s address. You can also set pickup as the only option.

Please Note: If the client chooses Pickup in their order, your pickup settings will be applied on the order and will define the complete flow of handling the shipment (so any other settings you set in the product such as ‘ship to me first’ or Shipping Tiers will not be applied in this scenario).

undefined

4. Continue by defining how lab-fulfilled items will be handled for Pickup orders. Select your preferred shipping method (from the lab to you). Then checkmark if you want the items to be shipped from the lab to an address different than your account address.

This can be useful if the pickup location is different from the address specified in your Pic-Time Settings > Profile. (For example, you are using a pickup location which is not your regular studio address, or if you are setting up a price list with pickup option for a large client such as a school and you want the items to be shipped there directly from the lab.)

Please Note: The photographer will automatically pay the shipping cost from the lab, if it’s applicable.

undefined

5. Enter the address, and click Apply.

Please note: This address will not be shown to the client.

undefined

6. Then add any pickup information shown to your client, such as a location for the pickup, hours of operation, or how to contact you to schedule the pickup.

undefined

7. Then set your Processing Time. This is for any additional time you may need to prepare the order after it has been delivered to you. Click Apply to save your changes.

undefined

In the Gallery

You can set custom pickup options for specific galleries if you need to change any of the settings or information for just one gallery. You can also set this automatically within a Gallery Template.

1. After selecting your gallery, in the Gallery Setup tab, checkmark to enable Custom pickup options.

undefined

2. This will open the custom pickup editor where you can set pickup as the only option if you like, adjust the shipping address and method, Pickup information shown to the buyer, and the processing time. Click Apply to save your changes.

undefined

Mark Orders as Ready for Pickup

1. To mark any orders as ready for pickup and send an email notification to your client, go to Sales and Automation from the Main Dashboard.

undefined

2. In the Orders tab, select the specific order, and click the hand icon to Mark as ready for pickup.

undefined

3. You can checkmark any products in the order that are ready, and then click Mark as Ready for Pickup.

undefined

This will send the Order Ready for Pickup email and by default include your Pickup details. Learn more about editing the Pickup email here.
