Give your clients the option to pick up their orders in person. You can enable this per Price List, set custom pickup options for individual galleries, and easily mark orders as ready for pickup.

Enable Pickup in the Price List

1. From the Main Dashboard, go to Settings.

2. In the Store Pricing tab, select the Price List you wish to edit.

3. Click on Settings, and choose Pickup from the drop-down menu.

4. In the Pickup settings window, select whether pickup should be available alongside other shipping options or as the only option in the client’s cart.

Please Note: If a client chooses pickup, these settings will define the complete flow for handling the order. Any other settings you have selected for this product (e.g., “ship to me first” or Shipping Tiers) will not apply to their order.

5. Next, define how lab-fulfilled items will be handled for pickup orders:

  • Select your Preferred Shipping Method from the lab to you.

  • Check the box if you want items shipped to an address different from your default Pic-Time account address. This is useful if the pickup location is not your regular studio address or if fulfilling a large client order (e.g., a school) directly to their location.

Please Note: You will automatically pay any applicable shipping costs from the lab.

6. If you have selected to use a different address, you’ll be prompted to enter the shipping address. This address will not be shown to the client. Click Apply to save.

7. Then, add pickup information that will be shown to the client, such as a location for the pickup, hours of operation, or how to contact you to schedule the pickup.

8. Then set your Processing Time - any additional time you may need to prepare the order after it has been delivered to you. Click Apply to save your changes.

Set custom Pickup options in a gallery

You can override price list pickup settings for individual galleries or set them automatically using a Gallery Template.

1. Selecting your gallery, go to the Gallery Setup tab, and check the box to enable Custom pickup options.

2. In the custom Pickup settings, you can then:

  • Make pickup the only option

  • Adjust the shipping address and method

  • Update pickup information visible to the client

  • Set the processing time

Click Apply to save your changes.

Mark orders as ready for Pickup

You can mark any orders as ready for pickup and send an email notification to your client:

1. From the Main Dashboard, go to Sales and Automation.

2. In the Orders tab, select the order and click the box icon to Mark as ready for pickup.

3. Check the box next to any ready products, then click Mark as Ready for Pickup.

This sends an email to the client notifying them that their order is ready for pickup, including your pickup details by default.
