Create a pre-made product
Go to one of your Client Galleries, and in the Shop tab, click + New Product.
Choose a product
Choose a product from the list. You can select products currently available in Pic-Time 2.0, even if it's not enabled in the Price List you have assigned to the gallery. This allows you to create special and specific products that your clients won’t be able to order otherwise.
Select your fulfiller
You’ll then see a list of all the labs that can fulfill this product. Choose if you want to:
Use a lab
Select the lab you want to fulfill this product, then click Continue to design.
Pro Tip: You can choose a lab close to your client if you’re creating a pre-made product for someone internationally.
Self-fulfill
If you want to self-fulfill, select I’ll fulfill this product myself, then choose one of your pre-made Shipping tiers from the drop down, and set your Production time. Then click Continue to design.
Design the product
Select the specs for your product, such as size, finish, color, etc. Then click to Select photos.
Checkmark specific photos, click Select all to select a specific scene, or choose images from a Collection or Selection.
Then click Finish & Personalize.
After that, you can fully design your product. When you’re happy, click Save Design.
Then click Got it.
Set up the client experience
Now you can customize how you want to display the product to your clients.
Click the desktop and mobile icons to switch between the previews of what your client will see.
Click Save draft to save your progress and return to creating the pre-made product later.
Click Edit design to update the design, size, or finish of the product.
Recipients
Type in a title for the product.
Next, Select clients to offer the product to, or choose to make it available to all gallery visitors.
Search or use the filter to find a client, click + Add to invite a new person to the gallery (they will be invited as a Photographer Invited user), and checkmark which people you want to offer the product to. Then click Done.
If needed, click on the X or click to Edit clients if you need to remove a particular person.
Email recipients
You can then checkmark to send an email letting your clients know about the product, emailing them right away, or scheduling it to be sent later.
No email is sent if you choose to display the product for all gallery guests.
Click Schedule this email if you want to schedule it to be sent at a later time. This won’t delay when gallery guests see the product in the shop, it will only delay when the email itself is sent.
Select from one of our suggested times, or set the date and time. Then click Set.
To edit the email, click Preview and edit email.
Select from one of your pre-made Email Packages, edit the email if needed, and click Set email text.
Price
In the Price section, the default price for the product will be based on the current Price List you have assigned to the gallery, but you can adjust it for this specific product.
Set the Recipients price for the product. You’ll also see Your cost and Your profit if the customer purchases it.
The price will be displayed in the preview for the client.
Complimentary product
If you want to offer a complimentary product, type 0 into the Recipients price and checkmark to confirm that you want to offer it for free.
Please Note: You can only offer a complimentary product for specific recipients, and each recipient will be able to order the product for free. So if you offer a single product to multiple clients (for example, a wedding couple), only enable one of the clients as a recipient.
The price will be displayed as Free in the client’s view.
Shipping
You can also adjust who pays for shipping. Click to see the shipping options.
Toggle who will pay for each shipping option, either the Client or Photographer. You can use the Shipping calculator if you need to determine how much shipping will cost.
If you set the shipping to be covered by you, at checkout it will be shown as $0.
If you like, you can set to have the product ship to you first if you want to check the quality, use it for your marketing, or add your personalized packaging before shipping it to the client. Click Set.
Checkmark Apply to product.
Then checkmark if you want it to apply only to international shipment, set your preferred shipping method to you (this will be the default option clients see at checkout), add your processing time, and then click Save changes.
Then you can set one of your pre-made Shipping tiers for the product.
Then click Publish and it will be available in your client's shop.
Edit, duplicate, and remove pre-made products
Go to the Shop tab of your gallery, and in the Pre-made products section you’ll see the recipients, product details, and the product status.
Click Edit setup to edit any part of the product design and client experience. This will open the client experience setup.
Click Duplicate to duplicate the product design and client experience. This will open the client experience setup.
Please Note: This will not affect any products already in the client’s shopping cart.
Click Remove if you want to delete the product and remove it from the shop.
Please Note: This will not affect any products already in the client’s shopping cart.
Click Remove anyway.
Client View
When clients receive any relevant emails and click through to view the product, they’ll be taken directly to the Shop.
In the Shop, clients will see a Created for you section with their product, and they can click to review and purchase it. From there, clients are taken to the full editor, where they can add their own personal touch, replace any images, crop photos, and then when they’re ready, add the album to their cart and checkout.
