Updated today

Pic-Time 2.0 introduces a new evolution of the delivery experience. The gallery, print shop, and album creation flows have all been redesigned with a fresh look and an upgraded interface, built on a new infrastructure that creates a stronger foundation for what’s ahead.

As part of this transition, some features from the previous version are not yet available in the new experience. We recognize that some of these are part of your daily workflow, and our team is actively working to reintroduce them as quickly as possible.

Below is a list of temporarily unavailable features, along with available workarounds and features that have been discontinued. This article will be updated regularly with the latest progress.

Temporarily Unavailable Features

Photo Selection Request (including with SSS Automation)

We will be adding back in the Photo Selection Request tool with new and updated functions to Pic-Time 2.0 soon!

If you use the Photo Selection Request tool (including with the Simple Sales System automation), we recommend:

  • Notifying your clients about the new Collections feature in their gallery, an easy way for them to group their favorite photos together.

  • You can see these Collections from the Gallery Dashboard, and easily download, make slideshows or a Highlights scene, or create products with the Collections.

Album Proofing

We will be adding back in the Album Proofing tool with new and updated functions to Pic-Time 2.0 soon!

If you use the Album Proofing tool, we recommend:

  • Checking out the Next Gen Album Designer which features more layouts, new customizations, and intuitive interface that makes it easy for you and your clients to create albums.

  • If you still want to use your own spread designs, as a temporary workaround you can upload your album spreads in a Hidden scene in the Photos & Media tab visible to only your Main Clients.

Certain Products

Some products are not yet available in Pic-Time 2.0. We will be adding them soon. The products that are not yet available are:

  • Printed Hardcover Book

  • Printed Layflat Album

  • Print Pack

  • Linen Box

  • Glass Box

  • Greeting Cards

  • Foil Greeting Cards

  • Magazines

  • Calendars

  • Product Packages

If you offer those products to your clients but the gallery is set to Pic-Time 2.0:

  • The product will not be visible to the client (including any products in their shopping cart, or saved designs).

If you offer Digital Downloads, including Slideshows, Photo Downloads, and Featured Videos, they are still available for clients to purchase through the gallery directly, and will be added to the Pic-Time 2.0 shopfront soon.

Client Saved Designs

We will be adding back in the Saved Design feature for clients in Pic-Time 2.0 soon!

If you or your client uses Saved Designs:

  • The system currently automatically saves any products the client is working on, and will bring them back to the design if they click to create the product again. As an additional workaround, clients can add products to their cart to save the designs.

Gallery Languages

Pic-Time 2.0 currently supports gallery languages in English, Spanish, German, and French, with additional languages set to be reintroduced over the next few weeks.

If your workflow relies on other gallery languages, they are not yet available in Pic-Time 2.0 but will be added back soon as part of ongoing updates.

Creating Pic-Time 2.0 galleries directly from the Lightroom Plug-in, Honeybook, or Studio Ninja

We will be adding in the option to manually select the Pic-Time 2.0 platform while creating galleries with the Lightroom Plug-in, Honeybook, or Studio Ninja soon!

If you use the Lightroom Plug-in, Honeybook, or Studio Ninja and want to create Pic-Time 2.0 galleries:

  • You can create or edit a Gallery Template with Pic-Time 2.0 selected, and choose that template when creating your gallery with the integration.

Other temporarily unavailable features include:

  • Quick Buy

  • Send Product Automation

  • Rolling Publish Automation - price slash not visible

  • Clients cannot place a single order with items from multiple galleries

  • Creating and editing client carts

  • Testimonials and the Recommend button

  • Saved Designs

  • Send Product Automation

  • Client uploads in gallery and shop

  • Selfie Search

  • Quantity selection in Custom Products

  • Workflow tab - download and send photos from the Photos & Media tab instead

  • Logo link - clicking the photographer's logo in the gallery does not currently redirect to an external website

Discontinued Features

Workflow tab

The Workflow tab in the galleries is being discontinued in Pic-Time 2.0, however all the features that were found within are already or will be moved to other locations. Learn more here!

Access Request

The Access Request tool that allowed guests to request to view the gallery, either approved by you as the photographer or your client, is being discontinued in Pic-Time 2.0.

Reason: Replaced by more flexible gallery media sharing options for your clients.

If you used the Access Request tool, we recommend:

  • Offering guests the option to pre-register for the gallery. They can fill out their information either via a link or QR code that you can access from the Mobile App right at the event.

Gallery AutoPlay

Reason: Replaced by more customizable tools like the Slideshow and cover editors, which allow select images to be synced to music and displayed directly within the Gallery. If you used the Gallery AutoPlay feature, we recommend using Slideshows or Videos to add audio-visual elements to the gallery.

Gallery’s Featured Products Bar

Reason: Streamlines the Gallery view for a cleaner, distraction-free experience.
