By opting out of marketing emails, clients will no longer receive Marketing emails from you. Certain system emails may continue to be sent to clients, but they can be manually blocked by the photographer. In this article, we will walk you through how clients can unsubscribe from all marketing emails and how you can block certain system emails.
Opting out of Marketing Emails
Marketing emails are any emails sent via a Marketing app. Depending on your app's settings or Assignment Setup, your clients may still be able to use the discount associated with the campaign, but just not receive the emails.
Pro Tip: This does not include the Single-Use coupon app, allowing you to still support any of your clients with a discount even if they've unsubscribed from Marketing emails.
Client Profile Settings
1. If your client wishes to opt out of receiving marketing emails, begin by having your client log into their account and select the person icon from their gallery menu. Then click on Settings.
2. The checkbox I would like to receive special offers and updates must be unchecked. Once they Save Changes, your client will no longer receive marketing emails.
Unsubscribing from Client Email
1. Alternatively, clients can unsubscribe from emails by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any emails they have received.
Please Note: Unsubscribing will only affect marketing emails, photographers must block other system emails to prevent clients from receiving them.
Photographer-Blocked System Emails
1. It is possible to block certain system emails from being sent to your clients which can be done in your account settings. From the Main Dashboard, select Settings.
2. Click on the Email Packages tab and select the email package that you want to edit.
3. From here, you can view all emails sent to clients. In addition, you can check the boxes for the emails you wish to block from sending.
