How are Shipping Methods Displayed?

There are many different shipping options that can be set up for your clients. If you self-fulfill products or set up custom products, you can create different Shipping Tiers. For lab-fulfilled products, the shipping is automatically determined by the printer. You can also enable shipping costs to be automatically covered by you, and offer a Pickup option if you want to hand deliver your products to your clients.

Pro Tip: You can also create a Free Shipping sale with a minimum order requirement to encourage clients to place larger orders.

Shipping Method Display

When your clients reach the checkout screen, if you have multiple shipping methods available, they can select their desired method by clicking on the Shipping method link.

The Shipping method option will not appear if:

  • Only one shipping method is available (including Pickup). The shipping method is automatically applied.

  • The order contains only digital products.

After the client clicks to view the shipping methods, only the available methods are displayed. For example, if you’ve set up a self-fulfilled product with only Economy or Rush shipping, only those two methods will be displayed.

If you have Pickup and Delivery available as options, on the Shipping page clients can select their preferred method from the dropdown.

Suppose your client has products with different available shipping methods, for example, a local product and a product from an international lab. After they select one shipping method, the system will determine the best possible shipping for the remaining products.

If there is no shipping available, for example, if they have selected a product that does not ship to their country, the client will see a No shipping to this address message.
