What Are the Properties of Pricing Presets Available to Me?

Pic-Time's premade pricing presets are created for use on new or existing price lists. In this tutorial, we will go over how to apply these presets to existing or new price lists and the properties of each preset.

Apply Preset on Existing Price List

1. To apply a preset on an existing price list, click Settings from the Main Dashboard.

2. Then select the Store Pricing tab and click on Markup & Presets.

3. Select Presets in the upper right corner and choose which preset you would like to Apply.

Apply Preset on New Price List

1. To create a new Price List, click Settings from your Main Dashboard.

2. In the Store Pricing tab, click Edit Price Lists.

3. Click +Add More.

4. First, set up your lab selection by following these steps. Then select which pricing preset you would like to choose.

Preset Breakdown

There are two pricing presets available:

  1. Basic Pricing Preset: marks up your store items to 150%

  2. Premium Pricing Preset: marks up your store items to 200%

Both pricing presets offer tiered pricing for smaller print sizes.

For the Basic Pricing Preset, the minimum amount for a small singular print is $5 and price per print decreases as they order more prints of the same size. This way, your client isn’t getting a singular print for under $5, and they will be encouraged to shop multiple prints at once.

For the Premium Pricing Preset, that minimum amount for a small print is raised to $10 and the price decreases as your client orders more prints of the same size.

For example, this is the tiered pricing for 3.5x5” prints using the Basic Pricing Preset.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of tiered prices on smaller prints and high-resolution downloads:

Basic Pricing Preset

1-5 prints: $5/each

5-10 prints: Average value between 1-5 and 10+ price

10+ prints: Preset markup is applied (150%)

Downloads:

1-10 photos: $10 per photo

10+ photos: $100 fixed price

Premium Pricing Preset

1-5 prints: $10

5-10 prints: Average value between 1-5 and 10+ price

10+ prints: Preset markup is applied (200%)

Downloads:

1-10 photos: $15 per photo

10+ photos: $150 fixed price
