Why is the watermark option not showing up?

Watermarks are a great way for photographers to protect their work in galleries. You can enable them through the Gallery Setup tab.

If the watermark option isn’t available, here are the most common reasons:

Upload Watermark

If the Watermark settings in the Gallery Setup tab are grayed out or unavailable, it may be because you have not yet uploaded a watermark.

Once you upload your general watermark, you can enable or disable it for each gallery.

Burned Watermark

If you don’t see the watermark option in the Gallery Setup tab, it could be because Burned Watermark is enabled in your Brand & Style settings.

If you cannot view the watermark option within your Gallery Setup tab, it may mean that Burned Watermark is enabled in your Brand & Style tab.

To check:

1. From the Main Dashboard, go to Settings.

2. Open the Brand & Style tab. Select the brand you want to edit. In the Watermark Settings dropdown, check if the Flexible watermark or the Burned watermark is selected.

3. If Burned Watermark is enabled, switch to Flexible Watermark to edit watermarks within galleries.

Please Note: This change won’t affect galleries where the Burned Watermark was already applied. Learn more.

4. After selecting the Flexible watermark option, return to your gallery's Gallery Setup tab, where you'll find that the Watermark dropdown menu now enables you to make edits.

If images were uploaded to the gallery before switching (when Burned Watermark was enabled), you’ll need to re-upload them for the new watermark to apply. Learn more.
