Occasionally you may see a "Payment Pending" error indicating that the payment cannot be processed. This error can occur due to various issues with payment methods. This article will outline a few solutions to help resolve the issue and keep your business running smoothly.

Common Scenarios

If you're a photographer experiencing the "Pending Payment" error, it's important to understand the common scenarios and resolutions related to this issue.

Valid Payment Method

To resolve the "Pending Payment" error, consider updating your payment method.

1. From your Main Dashboard, go to your Settings.

2. In your Plans & Billing tab, ensure your payment method is valid, not expired, and has sufficient funds. Click Update Payment Method.

Bank Blocking

A “Pending Payment” error may occur due to a bank delay.

Banks often implement heightened security measures for subscription payments, which might result in a delay. In such cases, contacting your bank to authorize the payment may be necessary.

For a smoother experience, Pic-Time suggests using PayPal if you encounter this issue.

Refunds

If you have Pic-Time collecting your payments and are receiving a "Pending Payment" error, even though you don’t owe any money or are making a loss due to a discount, the likely cause is refunds on previous orders.

When one or more orders are refunded after you’ve received your profit payout, the system will charge you for the remaining balance after the refund. This process can lead to a pending payment status until the balance is settled.
