Pic-Time’s AI Photo Search for Clients allows gallery guests to easily filter through the gallery for photos of themselves using Selfie Search, Suggested People, or Keywords.

Simply enable the AI Photo Search for Clients, and guests can take a selfie within the search to quickly find all the photos in which they appear.

Selfie Search Access allows you to share the gallery with many people at once but easily give each person access to only their images, for everything from school portraits to sporting competitions.

This article will go over both features and how gallery guests can use them.

Quick Overview of the differences between the AI Search permissions:

To enable the Selfie Search and other AI Search options, first select or search for the specific gallery from your Main Dashboard.

In the Gallery Setup tab, there are a few AI options you can choose from, depending on what you prefer for your gallery guests. You can also enable the AI Search at the account level, and in your Gallery Templates. Click here to learn more!

If you select Enable AI Search for Gallery Visitors, then the AI Search with Keywords, Suggested People, and Selfie Search options will be available for anyone who visits the gallery (Main Clients, Photographer Invited, Client Invited, and Guests).

If you select Client prompted to enable AI Search, this means that your Main Clients will first decide if they want the AI Search with Keywords, Suggested People, and Selfie Search options available for themselves and anyone else who views the gallery (Main Clients, Photographer Invited, Client Invited, and Guests).

If you select Guests must scan face to view photos, then before they are given access, they have to first photograph their face (Client Invited and Guest only). Then our AI will only show the guest images in which they appear, and they will not have access to any other photos.

When the guest views the gallery, they will click Get Started to begin the Face Scan.

If they haven’t already given their browser permission, they will then see an option to Allow the gallery to access the camera.

Then, they can take a selfie to see the search results. After the AI Search locates the images that include that specific guest, the guest can view those images, and download and purchase based on your gallery settings. However, they will not be able to share the images directly from the gallery. Main Clients will still be able to share images if they like.

If the guest closes out of the search results or starts a new browser session, they will need to photograph their face again to view their images. Even if the guest has already created an account, if they start a new browser session they will need to re-scan their face to view their images.

When inviting your Main Clients or Photographer Invited users they will not be required to Selfie Search. However, if they view through the public link, they will be required to photograph their face before logging in to view the rest of the gallery.
