In addition to the wide range of items already available in the Pic-Time shop, you can add your own Custom Products. These products must be self-fulfilled, meaning you are responsible for production and payment collection. You can automate the self-fulfillment process by sending product files directly to your lab.
Adding Custom Products
Before you begin, make sure that payments are set to be collected by you in your Store Settings.
Then you are ready to set up your Custom Product:
1. From the Main Dashboard, go to Settings.
2. In the Store Pricing tab, select the relevant Price List.
3. Click on + Custom Product / Package to add a new item.
4. Select Custom Product, enter the product name, and click Continue.
Editing Custom Product Information
1. Adjust the Product Name and the Storefront Subtitle. These appear on the shop’s front page.
2. Choose the product group and product image. You can either upload an image or personalize it using your client’s gallery photos as product images.
The chosen image will appear on the main shopfront, in the Shop Editor, and in the shopping cart.
3. Check This product is delivered digitally if the product should be sent via email after purchase.
4. Check This Product Requires Photo Selection if clients need to choose images for the product. You can set the selection to Any Amount, Specific Amount, or Maximum Amount. If digital delivery is enabled and no selection is required, all gallery images will be sent.
5. Check Quantity selection per photo to allow clients to order multiple copies of a single image.
6. Add a form for clients to complete as part of their order. Follow these steps to set up a form.
7. Enter the product description, production time, and any additional photos. Click Apply to save.
Pricing Custom Product
In the pricing section, you can edit the item name, set shipping costs, adjust pricing, and add size or variation options. Click Apply when finished.
Duplicate Product
To create another version of a Custom Product:
1. In the specific Price List, click on the three dots underneath the product and select Duplicate from the drop-down menu.
2. This will create a new version of the product. To enable it, check the box in the Price List, then click on the product to customize it. When you’re done, click Done to save your changes.
