The Gallery Expiration App is created to enhance your gallery setup workflow. With this app, you can create a store promotion surrounding the gallery expiration. This will encourage your clients to make any last-chance purchases through their gallery.
If you’d like to expire the gallery without a promotion, follow our tutorial here.
Add Gallery Expiration App
1. To begin, go to your Sales & Automations section from your Main Dashboard.
2. Select the Automations tab and click + More Automations.
3. Select the Gallery Expiration app, and click Install App.
4. Name your app and click Add Automation App.
Gallery Expiration
5. First, modify your default Gallery Expiration. This is the default time your gallery would expire from when you assign the app to your project. When you assign this app to a gallery, you can also edit the exact expiration date.
Please Note: If you have previously set an expiration date in the gallery's Gallery Setup tab, the expiration phase within the app will function according to that expiration date. If you did not set a date, then the app will automatically set the date.
6. Adjust the expiration to end at 11:59pm if you like, and click Apply.
Expiration Promo
7. To add reminders for your client, click to toggle off the Expiration Promo. Then only the reminder emails will be editable.
Limit Campaign Users
8. You can also add a promotional period if you would like. First limit which users will be able to receive the campaign.
9. You can checkmark different user types, then click Apply.
Expiration Promo Duration
10. Then set the Expiration Promo Duration. This will be how long the coupon code is active for before the project expires. For example, if your promo duration is set to 14 days, the promotion will be sent 14 days before the gallery expires.
11. Adjust the duration and click Apply.
Expiration Promo Discount
12. If you are doing a promotion, you will likely want to offer a discount.
Here you can modify the discount, description, code, whether you want to apply free shipping, whether you want to have a minimum order amount for this coupon, if you want to allow discount stacking or if you want to limit the coupon to specific products. For more information on what discounts you can offer, click here. Click Apply when you are ready to save your changes.
Expiration Promo Emails
13. You can also modify the emails as part of your campaign. First adjust the email send time, if you would like to delay the announcement email and reminder emails. This will not delay the start of your campaign but only delay the email send time.
14. Editing emails is easy. Your announcement email will go out at the start of the campaign. You can also add email reminders before the expiration of the campaign. Click the pencil icon to begin editing the email.
15. Begin by adjusting the banner image. Click Change Image.
16. Once you choose your banner image, you can modify the email subject, message title, email message and button text.
17. Once you have reviewed your text, click Apply to save your changes.
18. If you don’t want to send out a certain email, you can click the trash icon to delete it.
Please Note: All emails about expiration will come from the app only. The default expiration emails in your email packages will not be sent when the Gallery Expiration app is assigned. There is no need to set the expiration in the Gallery Setup tab.
Expiration Promo Banners
19. You can now begin customizing your banners. There are 5 types of banners: text banner, large banner, photo banner, product row, and store rotator. Each banner has various editable parameters.
Text Banner
The text banner is located at the top of the gallery, underneath the navigation bar of the gallery. The banner is pinned to the top of the gallery while scrolling. You can edit the text, text color and background color.
Large Banner
Large banners are shown in the gallery stream between scenes and have a larger number of customizable fields. You can edit the image, content, and style of these banners.
Photo Banner
The photo banner is displayed in the gallery stream, in the midst of the photos. It shows a countdown clock for the duration of the campaign. Similarly to the large banner, you can edit the image, content, and style of this banner.
Product Row
The product row allows you to pick 3 products that are displayed at the bottom of the gallery stream. You can modify the title and subtitle of the product row and choose 3 products. Note, if you choose a specific size or type of product, it will still display the general name of the product (i.e. if you choose a 10x10 Lay Flat Album, it will display Lay Flat Albums as the product) but if the client clicks on the product, they will start with the specific size/type you selected.
Store Rotator
The store rotator banner is located in the gallery store, above the products. You can modify the content, style and image of this banner.
20. After you have modified your app, you can leave an internal note to yourself and click Save to save the app.
Assigning the App to Galleries
