Accepting payments in your Pic-Time store with Square is easy.
1. From your Main Dashboard, go to Settings.
2. Select the Store Settings tab and under Payments click on Setup.
3. Click on the dropdown menu under Payment Collected By, and select Me (Photographer).
4. To connect a Square account as your payment method, click on Square.
5. Then select Setup.
6. If you've already logged into your Square Dashboard, your account will automatically connect. Otherwise you will see a pop-up to log into Square.
7. When prompted, click Allow to let Pic-Time connect with Square.
8. Select the location from which you would like to make your sales and click Apply.
If you only have one location in your Square Settings, select your business name.
9. Finally, to finish the connection and save your changes, click on Apply.
When you choose to collect the payment yourself (as opposed to Pic-Time), you are the official selling entity for the order and are responsible for everything relating to sales tax and payments.
As the photographer, you are the sole decision-maker regarding refunds. You can process any refunds directly through your Square account.
