How do I email all my clients at once?

As photographers, it may be important to send an email to your clients en masse. These emails could encompass general newsletters featuring updates on services and packages, upcoming promotions, booking a session, gallery highlights, and any other pertinent information that needs communication to your clients. This article will guide you through setting up these emails through a General Coupon. If you'd like people to be taken directly to the shop instead of their gallery, you can also use the Gallery Migration app to notify clients.

Mass Emails with General Coupon

1. To begin setting up a bulk email to clients, from the Main Dashboard, select Sales & Automation.

2. In the Campaigns tab, you will want to add a general coupon. To do so, click the plus sign above More campaigns.

3. From the selection of Marketing apps, click General Coupon and Install App.

4. In the General Coupon’s editor, delete the discount by clicking the trash icon. Alternatively, you may want to include a discount that people can spend in the shop, such as a New Year’s newsletter with a 20% off discount to celebrate.

5. Next, delete all banners when setting up your bulk email so they don't appear in your gallery as promotions.

6. In Emails, click the pencil icon to edit your Announcement email. Here, you can customize your message to your clients. Don’t forget to update the email’s subject, title, and message! This is where you can write your newsletter, remind clients to take a look at their galleries, and more. Once you have edited the email you wish to send, click Apply.

Pro Tip: The general coupon is completely customizable with discount and banner options that can still be displayed if you wish to keep these. 7. Once all has been completed, click Save.

8. To send the email to your clients, assign the General Coupon to the appropriate galleries you wish to send the emails to by selecting Assign to Galleries. Learn more about assigning the apps to galleries here.

9. Here, you can decide the Projects and Recipients you would like to send your email to.

10. To schedule an email in advance, such as a New Year’s newsletter, you can easily do so by adjusting the start date in the Automation-App Start to the desired send-out date. Click Apply to send your email.

Mass Emails for Photo Sessions

You may wish to communicate booking a photo session with clients via a bulk email. This is possible through the Automation app, Mini Session. Mini Sessions can be purchased from your client as a custom product, or you can take your clients to an external page such as your website or calendly.
