When sharing a link for clients to access their galleries, if clients forget their link they can still easily access the gallery through the generic landing page or through your Portfolio Page. This article presents a few options for delivering your work to clients.
Generic Landing Page
If you aren't concerned about Pic-Time branding being visible to your clients, you can utilize the following link to direct your clients to the login page, granting them access to their galleries.
This will prompt clients to enter their email address and password before redirecting them to the Galleries page within their account.
Please Note: If the client has access to galleries from multiple photographers, they will encounter the Select your photographer page.
Portfolio Page
You also have the option of providing your clients with a Portfolio Page on your website, granting them access to a dedicated client portal or page. The Portfolio Page allows you to showcase your Client Galleries all in one place. You can add galleries to your page, and to better accommodate your branding, you can customize the fonts, colors, font sizes, gallery grid, and logo within your Portfolio Page. Check out our dedicated article for more information on setting up your Portfolio Page.
Your URL will look like this example: johnsmithphotography.pic-time.com which will redirect to johnsmithphotography.pic-time.com/portfolio
From the page, clients can select their gallery and click Login.
Pro Tip: To feature the gallery on your Portfolio Page for client viewing, simply check the Show on Portfolio box in your Gallery Setup. Read more about this process here.
If the gallery is public, the visitors (users who have not been invited to the gallery previously) will see the sneak peeks and can click on View All Photos to see the rest of the gallery.
If the gallery is private, the visitors (users who have not been invited to the gallery previously) will only see the selected sneak peek photos when accessing the gallery from the Portfolio Page. They will be asked to login when clicking on View All Photos in order to access the rest of the images.
Please Note: You can also integrate your Portfolio Page into your website to create a dedicated page or client portal. Our article here is designed to guide you through effectively integrating your Portfolio Page and offers valuable insights to enhance SEO performance.
Custom URL
An unbranded landing page may be preferable to you so you can send the Portfolio Page to your clients using your own custom domain.
If you wish to utilize your own URL (free from Pic-Time branding), you can achieve this by setting up a custom domain. This approach allows you to maintain consistent branding for clients as they explore your Pic-Time portfolio.
