Easily upload your own video content directly to galleries! If you’re a photographer or videographer, showcase your videos and films in the way they were meant to be shared.

Begin in the Photos & Media tab of your gallery.

Please Note: When uploading video files, your computer's local drive needs to have some free space available (about x2 the uploaded video size). This is required to process the video for various streaming options.

Upload Video Clips

Video Clips are short videos, up to 30 seconds long, that can be uploaded directly to the gallery. These clips are always available for clients to download, offering a convenient option for easy video sharing.

Upload a video clip directly to your gallery, just as you would with standard JPG images. Photos can be uploaded alongside video clips, which can be arranged by scenes and played automatically in the gallery. Click the Photos & Clips icon.

In the gallery:

Upload Featured Video

Featured Videos are longer video forms, such as full speeches, highlight videos, all footage of the day, documentary videos, etc. Videos can be up to 90 minutes, 20 GB, and must be in .mp4 or .mov format. Click the Featured Video icon.

Click Select Video to choose your Featured Video.

After selecting your Featured Video, the upload will begin.

Please Note: The Uploader will create three versions of the videos: low, medium, and high resolution. When uploading Featured Videos or Video Clips, if the Uploader restarts during this Processing stage, or if you add additional files during upload, the current resolution's processing progress will be restarted.

Featured Video Settings

Name and Thumbnail

After the upload is complete you can edit the video settings. Add a Name for the video. Then click to upload a Thumbnail image. It should be the same dimensions as your uploaded Featured Video.

Download Settings

Then update the Downloads by clicking on the Settings button.

In the Download Settings, you can checkmark to Allow free Video downloads for Main Clients, Photographer Invited, or all guests of the gallery. If you have Video Downloads enabled in your Store Pricing, any users who are not eligible to download the video for free will be able to purchase it. You will see this in the Slideshows and Videos product in your Store Pricing. Click Apply to save your changes.

Please Note: Videos downloaded by clients will be in the highest resolution available.

If you need to edit your video again, in the Photos & Media tab, click on the three dots on the video and click Video Settings.

Download, Integrate, and Share Featured Video

You can easily download your video, integrate and embed it on your website, and share the direct video link, even to your mobile device.

After creating your Featured Video, in the Photos & Media tab, click on the three dots on the Featured Video and select Share Video.

Download

Click the Download button if you want to download the video file.

Integrate

Click the Integrate button to create an embed code for your video.

Copy and paste the code to an HTML block on your website.

Share

Click the Share button to copy the direct video link.

Select if you want to enable a free video download for any guests with access to this link. Otherwise the general Video Settings will apply. Then click Get Link.

Any guests will see a version of the gallery with only the Featured Video:

If you would like to share the direct video link via your mobile device instead scan the QR Code with your mobile device.

Open the camera app on your mobile device, hold it up to the QR code, and click on the link that appears. You’ll then be able to share the video via the Pic-Time Mobile App to any messaging app. Download today if you haven’t already!

Embed Video from a Third Party

If you host your videos on Vimeo, Youtube, or Animoto, you can also embed the video into your gallery. Click here to learn more!
