If support asks you for a host file, follow the instructions below:

Note: We are looking for a file named hosts. There may be multiple files with hosts in the name or with an extension, eg hosts.127, but the one we are looking for is just titled hosts with no extension.

MAC:

Go to Finder > Click on the Go option from the top menu > Click on Go to Folder option > Type: "/etc" and press Enter. Locate the file titled hosts.

Right click on the file, and click Compress. This will compress the file into a .zip file.

Send the .zip file to support in your conversation/email.

Windows:

Open Windows Explorer, copy and paste the path below and press Enter:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Locate the file named hosts. Right-click on the file, click send to and click Compressed Folder.

Send the compressed folder to support in your conversation/email.
