If you’re on a Professional or Advanced plan, or on a paid Art Store plan, you can self-fulfill your own Custom Products and any built-in products offered in the Shop.

With Self-Fulfillment, clients design products in the Shop and place orders, and you handle production or printing with any lab you choose. You have full control over pricing and shipping, can set your own shipping rates in Pic-Time, and mark orders as shipped to notify your clients.

Please Note: You must list yourself as the seller in your Store Settings to Self-Fulfill products. Automatic lab fulfillment is still available if desired.

Self-Fulfill Product Setup

1. Set Self-Fulfillment & Shipping

First, make sure to set up your Self-Fulfillment in your Settings > Store Settings. Follow these steps for detailed instructions.

In your Settings > Store Pricing tab, either create a New Price List with self-fulfillment as the default setup, or follow these steps for setting up Self-Fulfillment for an existing Price List.

In the Price List, select the Product you want to set up Self-Fulfillment for.

Select Self-Fulfillment & the Shipping Tier you want to offer for the products you want to self-fulfill.

2. Edit Product Info & File Automation

Click Product Info to edit the description and production time.

Please Note: Products that feature Pic-Time designs have a flat design cost. Fine Art and Layflat Albums, Hardcover Books, and Magazines have a flat fee of $5 (USD). Foiled and regular Greeting Cards have a flat fee of $2 (USD).

Edit the product description, production time, and add photos of the product for the shopfront.

Check Send files automatically if you wish to have files delivered automatically to your clients, or to your local lab.

Click Save Changes when finished.

Click Done when you are finished editing the Price List.

3. Access and Process Orders

To access orders that are in the queue to Self-Fulfill:

Under Sales & Automation > Orders, click the Self-Fulfill tab. Then click on the order.

Download Order

To download the full order, click Download CSV at the top of the page.

To download individual products, click the download icon next to the product.

Open the order file. The Cropped_Layouts folder contains the JPEG designs approved by the client. These files are ready to send to your chosen printing company.

Examples include:

Magazines

The first two files are the front and back covers. The remaining files are the consecutive pages of the magazine in left-to-right order (for example, imposed-2 is the left side of the first spread, and imposed-3 is the right side).

undefined

The Originals folder contains the original high-resolution (non-cropped) files for each spread, including the front cover (as in the example below). The folder is organized into subfolders such as Cover, Spread 1, Spread 2, etc.

undefined

Albums

In the Cropped_layouts folder, the last file titled imposed-00000.jpg is the album cover. The remaining files are the consecutive pages of the album (file titled cmp-000002 is the first spread, file titled cmp-000003 is the second spread, and so on).

undefined

Prints

In the cropped_Layouts folder, each subfolder indicates the number of copies for each image. The originals folder contains the original high-resolution images with no cropping adjustments made by the client.

Add Shipment Tracking

You can locate the client's name, email, and shipping address details at any point by clicking on Shipping Info.

Click the box icon to also see the client’s shipping info and save the tracking information to the order.

Check the items included in the shipment, select the Carrier (shipping courier), and enter the Tracking Number. Then click Mark as Shipped, and your client will receive an email with the tracking details.
