When your images are added to the gallery, the downloaded photos retain the original metadata attached to each photo. Metadata may originate from:

  • EXIF data attached by your camera

  • Other metadata attached in post-processing. To learn more about attaching metadata to your photos in Lightroom, click here.

Please Note: For browsing optimization, low resolution file tags are being removed and handled separately. The "Copyright Status" field is also not currently supported in low-res files, but the "Copyright Notice" field is supported.

If the original metadata fields are empty, Pic-Time will attach information to those fields by exporting the information from your Pic-Time account. Below is the breakdown of the Metadata fields and the information that is added.

  • Copyright: if previously empty, your Brand Name will be attached

  • SEO Keywords: attaches SEO keywords of the Gallery to existing keywords

  • Website: if previously empty, your website will be attached

  • Project Name: if previously empty, Gallery name will be attached

  • Scene (category) Name: if previously empty, Gallery scene name will be attached

  • Creator: if previously empty, your Brand Name will be attached

  • Credit: if previously empty, your Brand Name will be attached

  • Optimization: attaches "Pictime-Optimizer" for optimized photos.

  • Reference to the Pic-Time photo: Pic-Time photo ID will be attached
