Enlarging media is often used to highlight favorites or to make a subtle adjustment to the gallery's flow. This feature is only available to you as the photographer and your Main Clients, and can only be used for landscape (horizontal) orientation media.
Set Default Enlargement Preferences
Please Note: At the moment, automatically enlarging photos based on metadata is unavailable for Pic-Time 2.0 galleries.
Automatically enlarge media in your galleries based on star ratings in your metadata.
1. In your Settings > Preferences tab, under Automatically Enlarge Photos, choose the star rating you'd like to use, use the keyword "enlarge" in your metadata, or select Use Pic-Time Logic to let the system decide which media to enlarge.
Please Note: This setting applies to only future galleries you make after updating the setting.
Adjust in Gallery Preview
If you have the Pic-Time grid selected, you can manually enlarge individual landscape (horizontal) media. Your Main Clients will also be able to adjust this directly from their gallery.
1. In one of your Client Galleries, go to the Design tab and click on the Grid icon.
2. Select the Pic-Time grid, then in the gallery preview section click on the arrow icon to enlarge or minimize an image.
3. After the image is enlarged, click the arrow icon again to minimize it.
The media will stay enlarged/minimized for all viewers of the gallery.
Please Note: When landscape images are enlarged, photos are rearranged to the best possible fit within the gallery. However, minimal photo cropping may appear to accommodate consistency between photo spacing.
