There may be times when you'd like to copy a product your client has created and order it yourself. Pic-Time offers two simple ways to duplicate your client's order and place it through your own account. Follow the instructions below for each option.
If you wish to reorder a past product for your client, follow the steps in this article instead.
How to Copy a Client's Product
You can duplicate the product directly from your client's cart or saved designs by going to Sales & Automations from your Main Dashboard.
In the Carts tab, select the gallery and client you wish to copy a product from.
Copy from the Cart
To copy the product from their cart, click on the Duplicate icon next to the specific product.
Select to Duplicate into the photographer's cart.
This will open up the product and allow to make any adjustments if you wish to before you confirm by clicking Add to Cart.
After adding the item to cart you can Edit the product or add multiple copies if you wish to. Once you are happy with your order, simply Proceed to Checkout to complete your order.
Copy from Saved Designs
To copy the product from their saved designs, click on the Duplicate icon next to the specific product you wish to copy listed under saved-for-later products for this user.
Select to Duplicate into the photographer's cart.
You can edit the product or simply go ahead and click Add to Cart and follow the check-out instructions to complete the order of this product.
Product Markup & Invoicing
When you reorder a product for yourself through your account, please note the following:
You won’t be charged the markup that your client would normally pay. Instead, you will only be charged for the production and shipping costs, which will be applied to the payment method you have on file.
If you still wish to charge the client for the product, you will need to invoice them separately using your own invoicing software.
By using these methods, you can quickly copy a product or order from your client and manage your orders more efficiently.
