Using Stripe, you can collect Bancontact payments in your gallery store. To do this, first configure your store to accept payments through Stripe, then set your country to Belgium in both your Pic-Time and Stripe account settings.
Follow the steps below to get started.
Enable Bancontact Payments in Stripe
First, enable Bancontact payments in your Stripe account. Go to Stripe > Payment Methods > Select Bancontact. Learn more here.
Please Note: It may take up to 24 hours after you enable Bancontact in Stripe until it actually appears as the payment method in Pic-Time.
Then, connect your Stripe account to Pic-Time by following the steps below.
Connect Payments through Stripe
1. To begin, go to the Main Dashboard and click Settings.
2. Under the Store Settings tab, click Setup.
3. Click on the drop-down menu under Payment Collected By, and select Me (Photographer). Then, select to accept payments through Stripe and click Setup.
4. Click Continue to proceed.
5. This will open the Stripe login portal. Input your email details and click Submit.
6. If you have a Stripe account, select the account you want to connect to Pic-Time and click Connect.
If you don’t have a Stripe account yet, click to Create new account.
If you need to create a new account, you can select to copy your business information into Stripe for easier onboarding or select to create a new business. Then click Continue to finish creating your new account and complete the connection to Pic-Time.
7. After connecting your Stripe account, go to the Profile tab and Edit your Address to ensure your country is set to Belgium. That’s it, you’re all set!
