Marketing campaigns are essential tools for driving sales and engaging with your clients. With Pic-Time, setting up these campaigns is seamless and can be easily managed within the Sales & Automations section from your Main Dashboard. Among the various campaign options available, two options are the Single-Use Coupon app and the General Coupon app.

This article will guide you through how these powerful sales applications for your store differ and how to utilize them effectively.

Marketing Campaigns

Single-Use Coupon App

The Single-Use Coupon app allows you to offer clients individually customizable discounts. This means you can create a unique, one-time offer for any occasion, providing a flexible and efficient way to tailor promotions to a specific client’s specific needs. Each time you assign this app to a gallery, you can edit the template differently, ensuring a personalized touch for every client interaction. General Coupon App

The General Coupon app lets you send promotional offers to multiple gallery guests simultaneously. This highly customizable app can be used for various types of promotions, including percentage discounts, free products, free shipping, set monetary amounts (print credits), or product-at-cost-price coupons. Once assigned to a gallery, you can choose which clients receive the promotion and schedule the start time, making it ideal for general store sales and broad discounts. The Differences

Understanding the differences between the Single-Use Coupon app and the General Coupon App can help you choose the best tool for your specific needs. Here are the key distinctions:

With the Single-Use Coupon app there is a unique feature where recipients can share the discount. For example, if you issue a $50 off coupon, everyone who receives the coupon will be drawing from the same $50 pool, rather than each recipient getting their own $50 discount. For example, you provide a specific wedding couple store credit to share.

When the Single-Use Coupon App is assigned to galleries, you have the flexibility to edit all parts of the app from the gallery’s Automations and Discounts tab. Single-Use coupons can only be assigned within the gallery itself. This way, every time you need to send someone a discount or compensation, you can customize it to their specific needs.

Different Use Cases

If you want to send a discount or sale to a large group of people, or you have a standard promotion for all clients (like a Welcome Discount for every new gallery), the General Coupon app is the most ideal. It allows for broad application of discounts, making it easy to manage promotions that apply to multiple clients simultaneously. Provide a welcome discount, holiday discounts, free shipping, and more. Click here to learn more.

If you need to send a specific discount to an individual client for a unique situation (that doesn’t meet the General Discount workflow), like compensating an upset client with a special discount, the Single-Use Coupon app is best for this scenario. It provides the flexibility to create a one-time, customized discount tailored to the individual client's needs, ensuring a personalized touch and effective resolution. Click here to learn more.
