Sales Automation is inactive when it is being edited or in the Draft stage.

View a Sales Automation's Status

1. To view a Sales Automation's status, go to Sales & Automation from your Main Dashboard.

2. Then select either the Campaigns tab or Automations tab. You’ll see the Automation marked as Draft or Inactive.

3. If the Automation is assigned to a gallery, the status will also show as Inactive from the gallery’s Automations & Discounts tab.

When an Automation is inactive but still assigned to a gallery, upcoming actions connected to the Automation will not run. All upcoming Automation emails for the assigned galleries will be paused until the Automation is activated again.

The Automation also cannot be assigned to galleries while inactive.

Are Coupons Still Valid when an Automation is Inactive?

If a client received a coupon through the Automation while the Automation was active, the coupon will still be valid even when the Automationis inactive.

If you do not want the coupon to be valid, you will need to unassign the Automation from the gallery.

1. To unassign an Automation from a gallery, go to the gallery’s Automations & Discounts tab, hover over the Automation and select the three-dot icon. Choose Unassign from gallery. Or click the toggle icon to the left of the Automation.

Click Remove Anyway and the Automation will be unassigned from the gallery and the coupon will no longer be valid.

Changing the Automation's Status

To change the Automation's status from Inactive to Active, go to the Sales & Automation tab from your Main Dashboard and click on the Campaigns tab or Automations tab, depending on which Automation you want to activate. Click on the inactive Automation that you would like to activate.

Review the Automation settings, then click Done Editing in the top right corner.

Note: If you make changes Automation that is already assigned to galleries, you will need to un-assign and re-assign the App for the changes to reflect within the assigned galleries.

After you click Done Editing, the Automation's status will change to active.

Now that the Automation is active, any upcoming actions the Automation has left, such as automated emails, will resume for assigned galleries.

Note: If you leave the Automation editing page without clicking Done Editing, the Automation will remain inactive.

Assign New Galleries

If the Automation is not assigned to any galleries yet, or you would like to assign the Automation to a new gallery, click Assign to Galleries.

After you assign the Automation to a gallery the Automation will be active, however there may be a delayed start depending on your settings.
