First go to the Details tab or Name & Cover tab and make sure you have selected Pic-Time 2.0 for this gallery. If you’ve already shared your gallery with clients, you will not be able to switch between delivery experiences.
Please Note: Some design customizations are available on Professional and/or Advanced plans only.
Edit Gallery Cover
To customize the Gallery Cover, follow these steps:
Go to the Design tab in the gallery, and click on the Gallery cover preview.
Please Note: If you switch a Pic-Time 2.0 gallery back to Pic-Time 1.0, the Gallery Cover will update to a default image if a video was used for the Pic-Time 2.0 Cover, or if no image was selected.
Cover Media
If you don’t have any cover media selected yet, click the + plus icon to begin selecting.
Please Note: If you aren’t able to select an image yet, it’s likely because the web-res versions of the photos are still in the process of uploading. You will be able to begin designing when the web-res version of the photos are finished uploading. You do not need to wait until the high-resolution images are done.
Depending on the cover design, you can select multiple media items to use, including Slideshows, GIFs, Featured Videos, and Clips! Click on each media item to select it and then click Done.
By default, the first or only media item in your selection will be set as the Hero, which represents your gallery when shared via email, social media, or other platforms. If it’s a Clip, Featured Video, or Slideshow, by default the first 1 sec of the media will be played.
Pro Tip: If you select a Clip, Featured Video, or Slideshow, you can select and trim the portion you want to display. Learn more here.
Swap Hero Image
You can swap which media item you want to be the Hero by clicking on another media item and dragging it to replace the Hero media on the left-hand side.
Replace Media or Edit Selection
Click on Edit selection to adjust your media selection. To replace just a specific media item in your selection, hover over the item and click on the three dots icon, then, select Replace from the drop-down menu.
Adjust Focal Point
To adjust the focal point of the media, hover over the media item and click on the three dots icon. Then, select Focal point from the drop-down menu.
To adjust the focal point, click the spot on the image you want to be the focal point, then click Apply to save your changes.
Trim and Duplicate Videos and Slideshows
If you have selected a Video Clip, Slideshow, or Featured Video to feature in your Cover Design, you can adjust which specific part of the media you wish to showcase in the Cover Design. Hover over the media item, then click on the three dots icon and select to Trim video.

Choose Cover Design
Click on Design to expand the panel and browse all available Cover Design options. Click on a design to select it. You can see a live preview on the right-hand side of the screen.
In addition to new single-image Cover Designs, you now also have the option of animated, video, or multi-media collage covers.
Any media can now be used for the gallery Cover, including Slideshows, GIFs, Clips, and Featured Videos!
Customize Colors
Click Colors to customize the colors of your Cover design. From the drop-down menu, select how you want to adjust the colors:
Auto-select from hero photo: a color from your Hero photo will be automatically picked for the background color.
Gallery colors (no background): will display the primary color used in the gallery stream.
Gallery colors (with background): will display the secondary color to separate the cover from the gallery stream.
Select manually: lets you choose between using your White logo or Black logo from the drop-down menu and manually set the Background and Text color.
To adjust the Background or Text color, click the color icon. Select a color from the picker, enter a Hex code, or choose from the selected theme’s Palette or your Recent colors.
Adjust Text Styling
Click on Text to expand the panel.
From the drop-down menu, you can select to:
Use gallery style text: This keeps the text style that comes with your selected theme.
Edit manually: Allows you to select your Primary and Secondary fonts and adjust their size, spacing, case, and weight.
Letter Case
In the letter case section, you can keep the casing of your cover photo as typed, UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, or Sentence case.
Font Weight
In the font weight section, you can change the weight of the font between Extra Light to Bold, depending on the font selected.
Size and Letter Spacing
Click along the line or click the -/+ minus/plus icons to adjust the Size and Letter spacing.
Any changes you make will be automatically saved, and you can continue designing your gallery!
Edit Scene Headers
Scene Headers create visual breaks in your gallery, highlighting each Scene with media or text-based designs.
To customize the Scene Headers, follow these steps:
Go to the Design tab in the gallery and click on the Scene headers preview.
Select Media
In the Scene Headers Editor, under the Select Media tab, you’ll see all the Scenes in your gallery.
Each Scene Header uses text, or a single media item if you have a media design selected.
Please Note: If you aren’t able to select an image yet, it’s likely because the web-res versions of the photos are still in the process of uploading. To select or replace the media you wish to use in each Scene, click Add photo, or click on the three dots and click Replace.
Media in the selected Scene are automatically filtered, so you can click on the media you want and click Done; or you can adjust or remove the search filter by clicking Filter & AI Search. You can select Photos, GIFs, Clips, Featured Videos, and Slideshows.
Adjust Focal Point
To adjust the focal point of the media item, click on the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the media and select Focal point from the drop-down menu.
To adjust the focal point, click the spot on the image you want to be the focal point, then click Apply to save your changes.
Trim and Duplicate Video
If you have selected a Video Clip, Slideshow, or Featured Video for your Scene Header, you can adjust which specific part of it you wish to showcase. Hover over the media item, then click on the three dots icon and select to Trim video.

Remove Media
If you want to remove the media from a Scene Header so that it returns to a text only design, click on the three dots on the media and click Delete.
Customize Scene Header Designs
Under the Design Headers tab, you can choose from various photo & text or text-only design options.
Click on Show all designs to expand the panel view and see all available options.
Pro Tip: If you want to use a combination of text only and image based designs, first select your preferred text only design, and then select your image based design.
Click on any design to select it. You can see a live preview on the right-hand side.
Adjust Colors
Click on Colors to customize the colors in your scene header.
From the drop-down menu, select how you want to adjust the colors:
Gallery colors (no background): will display the image as-is (some designs may feature an overlay).
Gallery colors (with background): will display the secondary color as an opacity gradient as part of the design.
Auto-select from photo: The color will automatically pull a color from your cover image to match.
Select manually: Lets you set the Background and Text colors.
To adjust the colors, click the color icon. Select a color from the picker, enter a Hex code, or choose from the selected theme’s Palette or your Recent colors.
Adjust Text Styling
Click on Text to expand the panel.
From the drop-down menu, you can select to:
Use design set style text: this keeps the text style that comes with your selected theme.
Edit manually: Allows you to select your Primary font and adjust its size, letter spacing, letter case, and weight.
Letter Case
